Not comparing MJ's legacy to Kobe's, so there is no use in mentioning his accomplishments, especially considering Kobe is still in his prime. When I compare the two, I compare their skill sets. And one would be foolish to say that Kobe isn't in the same league as Jordan when it comes to that.

Skills sets how kobe wouldnt have his game if it wasnt for jordan
Just like Jordan wouldnt have his game if it wasnt for thompson and dr.j
If kobe is in the same leage tell him to score 65 points against the boston celtics he didnt do shit Jordan did back when he played birds celtics but kobe couldnt do anything to the big three and here is wut is funny in the 80's the game was much more physical now days anybody can get to the line so why didnt kobe, Skill sets could be the same but jo

Why compare skill sets why not compare them in general Jordan has a clutch factor jordan has never lost in the nba championship but kobe has twice. Jordan is more clucth than kobe it is a fact kobe might be in his prime but he aint on jordans level do they do similar things yeah but you can even watch kobes beyond the glory laker great Jerry West said Kobe is a different kind of player than jordan

What?

Cool, Blazers are in talk with Memphis about the possibility of sending Raef LaFrentz and the #13 pick (and maybe Jarrett Jack) for Jason Collins, Brian Cardinal and the #5 pick. This would be ultra great if Bayless is available, but that is unlikely. Still, could work out well. Ultimately it would be like trading Jack and the #13 for the #5 and then splitting Raef's contract into 2 with half of it expiring next offseason (the same time Raef's would have expired) and the other half expiring the year after.

Man that would leave Memphis stacked with PG's, wonder why they would do that when they already have Conley, Crittenton, Lowry and Navarro.
You dont mind getting rid of Jack Myth? I like his game.

He's the odd man out because the Blazers want to give his minutes to Rudy Fernandez and potentially another G from the draft. Plus, because of salary cap rules we need to get rid of Frye, Webster, or Jack because next off season each of their salaries will account for 300% of their actual values, making it so that we can't do anything with the salary cap space we have opened up.

As for memphis, they are losing Navarro back to Spain. Some of the rumors don't include Jack, but I'm willing to part with him if the Grizzlies want him. Jack also plays a lot of SG besides PG. He probably played more SG than PG for the Blazers this last year. The Grizzlies have been trying to clear cap space as soon as possible (hence the Gasol for Kwame trade). They want to get rid of Cardinal's contract which is $6-7M for each of the next 2 seasons, so instead of just having Collins' contract of $6M come off the books next year and nearly $7M come off the year after, they have $12M come off next year. Also, and this is a big part, I assume if Memphis is actually considering this deal, they must really like a player that will fall to #13. If that last statement is untrue, then I agree, Memphis won't do this.

Also, the Blazers are considering signing our overseas 6'5" PG, Petteri Koponen.

Cool, thanks for the insight. Financial decisions are becoming more important than player talent these days, i like Jack's game but if you guys can get a SG that can defend then i guess Roy would be the ideal PG anyway. Either way Roy's versatility allows him to play both spots but i like the defense that Jack and Roy bring to those positions, add Outlaw, Aldridge and Oden to that and you have a potentially great lineup on both sides of the ball.
Have you heard the rumor that has Webster being shopped for Barbossa?

Yeah, I've heard the Barbosa rumor, but its died down pretty quickly. It was Webster, 13, plus Jack for Barbosa. WAY too much if you ask me. Plus, I read that it was something leaked by the Suns to try to drive up the interest in Barbosa. Barbosa is an upgraded Jarrett Jack whose minutes are being given to Rudy. Doesn't make sense for us to trade for him. Especially since a pass first and/or defensive G is what we are after. Barbosa is neither. I'm still hoping we find a way to land Westbrook.

Westbrook may go 4th

I am a Bruin fan. His jumpshot is suspect. Maybe its improved

Yeah, I heard that Seattle is starting to think about him, but they aren't set. If Blazers can pull off a trade with Memphis, we should be able to pull off either Westbrook or Bayless. I'm cool with either (if we can get there).

Kobe got his game from jordan he shots the fade away like like jordan and does other similiar things to jordan

Watch ****in kobe bryant interviews he even says jordan influenced his game

IN a sport two rival competitors could have the same level of skill but their is something in basketball that seperates that it is intensity drive ans in basketball it is clutch factor trust me Jordan is clutch

And you know the draft is close when the Blazers start buying picks. We got the Hornet's 27th pick for cash considerations. I've heard things from packaging it to NJ in part of a deal that involves Devin Harris to drafting Ante Tomic and storing him in Croatia for a year or two. The latter is consistent with what the Blazers have done the last few years.

Devin Harris would be a great addition to the Blazers, exciting times for you eh Myth?

KOBE TELL ME HOW MY ASS TASTE

Heck yeah. Draft has been especially thrilling since we got Pritchard as our GM. Plus I won a Portland contest (95 winners) to go to a draft party that is hosted by LaMarcus Aldridge. Should be fun.

The Blazers could do some damage in years to come..
