It is impossible to put all things in the confines of one volume [i.e., the Bible]...you know that and so do I...so your question is moot. However, the Bible Has EVERYTHING in it that God wishes us to know and practice...and in it's confines are the COMPLETE doctrines regarding SALVATION and living RIGHTEOUSLY so that we may be CONFORMED to the IMAGE of His dear SON...Jesus Christ our Lord.

Too, the Scripture is the ONLY authority that is INSPIRED [i.e., God-breathed] of God. NO other AUTHORITY can claim this...because they are MAN-MADE [and MAN is a born SINNER...and NOTHING that he does can PLEASE God (Romans 3:10-11)...Man is TOTALLY DEPRAVED (Psalms 51:5)]. The Sriptures declare: "ALL scripture is given by INSPIRATION of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for REPROOF, for CORRECTION, for INSTRUCTION in RIGHTEOUSNESS: That the MAN OF God [i.e., the REDEEMED SINNER] may be PERFECT [i.e., in Christ Jesus], throughly furnished unto all good works" [2 Timothy 3:16-17].

***Therefore, since ONLY the Scriptures are VALID [i.e., inspired of God]...the Christian does NOT recognize ANY other edicts...especially any edicts emanating from the INQUISITIONAL church [i.e., the HARLOT of BABYLON...Revelations 17:5].

Finally...the Catholic church did NOT gather the books, choose the ones which reflected the faith of Christians, etc. The books of the New Testament were completed in the first century of the Christian era...while the Catholic church with its distinctive features and its separate existence did NOT come into being until four centuries later. Furthermore, the SIN and CORRUPTION that have characterized the Catholic church...particularly during the Middle ages when so many of her doctrines and practices originated, is proof that she is in NO SENSE superior to the Bible...but quite the contrary.

BOTTOM-LINE: Your allegations that the Romish church gave us the Bible is NOTHING but a CROCK.

Being in Catholic schools doesn't make you Catholic or "familiar" with Catholic doctrine. In fact many actual Catholics are not "familiar" with Catholic doctrine.

Perhaps it is a waste of time replying to you, but I got to make some clarifications for the readers, not for you

-The inquisition (all of them: catholic, Spanish, protestant) are a very interesting topic to address in the near future, but your number sare certainly extracted from Chick's traits, nothing to do with historical facts. Just black legend, especially if you consider what the number of inhabitants were in Europe by the time, impossible to be "Millions".

-It is a fact that many protestant groups argue that they are the only true church, the rest can go to hell or will you deny this?

The Catholic Church couldn't agree more that Scripture is inspired, and useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, for training, to be competent and to be equipped for every good work.

Regretfully for you it doesn't say that the scrpture is the ONLY thing inspired by God, it doesn't say that it is the ONLY thing that can be used for teaching, refutation, correction, for training, etc...

It only says that "Scripture is inspired by God, and is useful......"

If you see something else, then you are not following the "ONLY SCRIPTURE", in fact you will be doing the opposite, applying a "tradition" to add to the text, that must be used by your community,

Anyway, by the time Paul wrote that, there were no New Testament yet, so He was referring to the Greek version of the Jewish scriptures (the one he and the apostles used) which included the Deuterocanonical books, which many protestant reject due to their closeness to "Catholic doctrines".
