The Catholic Church couldn't agree more that Scripture is inspired, and useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, for training, to be competent and to be equipped for every good work.

Regretfully for you it doesn't say that the scrpture is the ONLY thing inspired by God, it doesn't say that it is the ONLY thing that can be used for teaching, refutation, correction, for training, etc...

It only says that "Scripture is inspired by God, and is useful......"

If you see something else, then you are not following the "ONLY SCRIPTURE", in fact you will be doing the opposite, applying a "tradition" to add to the text, that must be used by your community,

Anyway, by the time Paul wrote that, there were no New Testament yet, so He was referring to the Greek version of the Jewish scriptures (the one he and the apostles used) which included the Deuterocanonical books, which many protestant reject due to their closeness to "Catholic doctrines".

I know all Chicks tracts by heart. Don't try too hard. They are just fantasy, with little historical facts.

Catholic Church accepted the responsability for the historical sins, mistakes and error of Catholics through history (Yes, John Paul II did it). Of course, none of the above is accurate. I'm not denying that there was an Inquisition and that there were victims and asked for forgiveness, that's far more than any protestant group has ever done .

Catholic church opened the files to see what the truth really is and the number of victims, the study is still going on but the number of fatal victims is not greater than 5,000 in all the years of inquisition, which of course is still reprobable, but it is not "Millions". Besides the ones applying the death penalty was the Civil authorities, not the church, but this doesn't diminish the responsibility of Catholics who participated in this trials.

The number is minor than the number of victims of the inquisitions started by Calvin, Zwinglio and Calvino against catholics and other Christians in Europe in the 16 and 17th centuries, and by Anglicans in England and Ireland against Catholics or the "witches" and natives killed in America by protestants. Hollywood and some Anti-catholics have contructed a black legend in which catholics are responsible for all of them.

Have you ever listened to a program on the history channel about the Egyptian book of the dead? Your post reminded me of the point where the Egyptian god weighs your heart.

Did you realize that is what you sound like to me. I know for a fact that there is no judgement day, and no god to place you in heaven or hell. It is as silly to me as the Egyptian book of the dead.

I'm not the person who believes in made up after life stories. Skepticism is rarely a symptom of delusion.

As far as Scriptures speaking, it all depends on how you look at it. Therefore, there is very little chance that you are onto something profound, and more like you are repeating scare tactic propaganda.

Prognosticate does not exist. No one including Jesus or even the bible can product the future. It is more likely post-diction that you are talking about.

The one thing that makes me scratch my head is the anger in your writing. Why are you so angry? My first thought would be that your life is filled with misery, and that makes me sad. I wish I could bring happiness to you, but I can only help those who wish to help themselves.

2 Samuel 3:3 God is called the Rock of Israel, therefore it does not apply to your case.

Psalm 28:1 is the Hebrew word "zur" which means a refuge. Therefore it does not apply to the case.

Psalm 18:2 uses both the words sel'a and zur and a mountain stronghold. None apply to the case.

Psalm 89:26 calls God the rock of our salvation. That's a no-brainer which doesn't apply to the case.
