Considering the topic itself is in poor grammar, this really does belong in the OTF.
I'll tell you what's funny, though. When a thread is deemed Off-Topic in the GDF and gets moved, it's like the cellar door is lifted and the topic is thrown into the basement with all the mutant delinquint sloths that are kept away from society. They get the thread, which is like 50 posts into it, and are like, "wut?", "My zipper's stuck!" "Weeeeee!"

Nah, I've said what I had to say here. If I answered your questions I'd be typing for at least 2 hours and I don't have that time. And it would most likely be a waste of time since I seem to be one the only people of color speaking on it in detail.
k...
well had you replied, i'd have said something to the effect of...
imo, in society at large, the black/latino/asian man on the street is always going to get looks from certain people. people are bigoted, and until the world has mixed its gene pool to the point where there is no minority, that kind of shit is always going to happen.
now, in the financial world, at least where i am, things seem to be getting worse and worse for the young, straight, white male... it may be a black guy or a white woman, but discrimination against white people in the workplace (especially toward males), has reached an all time high. the amount of 'affirmative action' type cases and sexual harrassment cases means that alot of white men are lucky enough to get their job in the first place, and even if they do, they have to watch what they say and do constantly... 😬
For example: I used to work with a nigerian guy, he was a pretty decent, all round nice guy too. There was just one thing that bugged me though... when he referred to women, he used the word 'molest' alot... now... i guarantee if i said that word once within ear shot of a woman, i'd be out on my ear... but he didnt seem to get into trouble..
a small example, yes... but a valid one that to me, reenforces (sp?) the stereotype that only white people can be racist or discriminatory...
but you didnt reply so just disregard what i just said... 😛
and yeah, silly topic...

*tries to disregard*.... 🤪 .... blowup

Your statement is exactly my point. Those aren't just looks from certain people. They're feelings and ideas past down from generation to generation... instilled in the minds of millions... sometimes powerful millions. i.e. Corporation heads, Law enforcement, Presidents. Those powerful millions operate on those feelings (maybe unconsciously) .... and there you go. Oppression.
I also think your statement is a cop-out...
I feel that it's possible to maintain our diversity and still see (and respect) each other as "fellow humans". It'll just take a massive amount of effort, the extermination of denial, and the willingness to change.

Has it ever entered your thinking that maybe the conduct of these certain white males has always been inappropriate. Only now they find themselves in less of a position of domination, so they're being called on it.
I don't call that "discrimination".
For example: I used to work with a nigerian guy, he was a pretty decent, all round nice guy too. I don't think that's a really good example. There could be alot of factors at work there... and the fact that you didn't say "molest" and then got toss out on your ear makes it speculation.
I also don't think that only white people can be racist or discriminatory. Some of the most racist people I ever met are of color.
But I actually think it's a different kind of racism. It's a side-effect of oppression. They see the police officer who don't come to their aid and harass them for no reason. They see the dirty looks when they walk down the street. They see the politicians that don't give a damn about them. They see the big houses up on the hill and they see the people that live in them. They see what color these people are. I don't think it's such a shock that they hold ill will towards white people.
I can tell you this.... I didn't know what race meant until I was called a n!gger. I was 6 years old and the person that called me that was the same age.
Racism against whites is at an all time high
"Has it ever entered your thinking that maybe the conduct of these certain white males has always been inappropriate?"
What is inappropriate about offering liberty, democracy, and civility to the world? Yes, we ironically have had wars to establish these concepts, but the white race has offered so much and still does.
What is it like to be white, you ask, just look around you, it's about LIBERTY and FREEDOM .
I hope I made sense, but if you ever wanted to know what it's like to be white and lived in a virtual “white” body, you may become so giddy with your new found freedom that you could miss the all important aspects of what makes white society a superior society.

"The seal and the constitution, reflect the thinking of the "Founding Fathers" that this was to be a nation by white people, and for white people. Native Americans, Blacks, and all other non-white people, were to be the burden bearers, for the real citizens of this nation."
- Minister Louis F.
Initially, "liberty" and "freedom" was meant to be a white only privilege at first. Ontop of which the ideal is completely hypocritical and contradictory since it's for "liberty and justice, for all". bs.
And you can keep your superior society. I wouldn't want to be apart of one of the most targeted societies in the world, in terms of death and destruction, anyway.
And as aside, I find it funny to find out that whites always tell blacks to forget slavery ever happened yet you always hear them cry "9/11" We Will Never Forget". That's white supremacy for ya.
And even thought I was born n NY I don't consider myself apart of 9/11. I don't consider it an attack on me. I consider it an attack on White America.

Well, what do you want? To NEVER, EVER get over it? Should we spend the next 400 years apologizing for slavery when no one alive today had anthing to do with it? My family wasn't even here then. I didn't break up any families or toss any naked, chained africans into the ocean.
It's also a stretch to use 9/11 and slavery. Especially the line "we will never forget"...a phrase that has absolutely no real meaning. I don't think that these guys were acting under the impression that was an event that would slip people's minds.
If you want to pretend to be fighting the good fight against racism, then I wouldn't quote Louis Farrakhan
