you're being silly...
Okay. Asians are the highest earning race in America.
That's not relevant to my argument.
Your views, from what I can surmise, focus around the white man holding the black man down and that even today the same thing is happening in America with the government doing little to combat it.Which is the same as Jesse Jackson's message.
It's not as simple as "the white man" holding "the black man" down. You've been listening to too many Jesse Jackson speeches and got yourself all riled up.
I was waiting for someone to accuse me of being racist for my views.
I was waiting for someone to say...
"I was waiting for someone to accuse me of being racist for my views."
I was making an observation about the tone of your argument.
Listen up buddy, my brother is black. Most of my friends are black. I have only maybe 3 white friends here.
No, you listen up, @sshole. I'm not your buddy. I asked you nicely to not tell me what to do. But you couldn't handle that. That shows your character.
I don't care if your brother's black. I don't care how many black friends you have. I know black people that don't like black people.
Which has nothing to do with the fact that whites died right along side of blacks. And how are poor whites presented with more opportunities? Simply because they're white? And what do you base this off of?
As much as I explain, you will never understand.
Which sounds nice. But it's not a plan. Those are goals.
You're being silly again...
I'm not going to write you a thesis on my plan to uplift people of color. For one, it would be wasted on you (and secondly) I couldn't possibly fit it into a readable kmc bubble.
One of the only realistic solutions? To what? Making blacks richer? Like it or not, Affirmitive Action is racism. And blacks being poor is not a race issue. It's a class issue. We need to focus on raising the poor out of poverty. Not blacks.
My argument in this thread has focused on people of color. You are focusing on black people.
What are you basing this off of? My dad paid for his college through Tuition Assistance from the US Navy and from his GI Bill. My mother paid for hers through TA from the US Marine Corps and her GI Bill. How do they have an easier time than blacks?
As much as I explain, you will never understand.
Okay. Let me rephrase 'Why? Because you see jokes about race on TV? Because sometimes white people talk down to you? Because sometimes you get excluded?' into just 'Why?'
I answered you.
Which doesn't address what my statement was. "If people would stop making such a big deal about it then maybe we could move the hell on with our lives. "
I'll leave you to your opinion and save my breath.
