"And what were your last interpretations of these setttings ?"

"This one," says Ascar peering, at where it is currently set, "is the Sith term for a quasi-mythical world known in the modern tongue as 'Avalar'. The legend speaks of a facility constructed by Sith Monks wishing to codify the basic tenets of the Sith, in order to train a new generation fo Sith Acolytes, in opposition to normal tradition. However..."

Ascar will go on to tell you the whole story unless one of you stops him.

"So...you have no idea why there's a power core here?"
Mah walks over to the power core and checks it out.

They have no idea at all. Big, fat thing it is; too heavy for you to lift.

"Hmm, curious. Certainly a Force user couldn't lift that, unless they had power like that of Master Yoda's or Master Windu's!" says Xeth. He inspects the power core.

"Was there anything else that was left intact that could have moved these?"

It could be done with a strong force user and some patience, though it would be a slow job.

There is nothing intact that moves them, no. The lifting work was done by specialist droids.

"Hmm, loading droids and a messed up computer...is it possible that the attackers managed to use droids to do the lifting?" asks Xeth.

No obvious reason why not, though they did seem to just leave it there. The droids are also meant to have programming to stop just anyone telling them what to do- they respond to sales personnel only. In any case, they were all blown up with the depot.

"So you believe this Avalar actually exists ?"

"Well, there is no physical evidence for its existence," says Ascar. "The Sith reference could be in actuality for just about anything. It certainly was never found in the last Sith war."

Gundark decided to fish a little deeper. "Have you had any other guests recently who may have taken an unusual interest in this piece ?"

"No, I cannot say that I have..." says Ascar. "But still, I am sure you have not come here just to talk archaeology. What was it you Jedi wish with me?"

"I wonder how they pulled this off." Lance said.

Pulled what off in particular, Lance? Obviously you can put down the no-casualty killing to their great skill and danger; I am just wandering what part of the operation you are questioning here.

(I think he means how they activated the droids and bent them to there will, since you said only sales persons can command them)

Oh, well, if you think they used the droids to move anything, I wouldn't get too twisted up about how. It would be what and why.

I was wondering how they pulled of the whole operation without being seen.

Well, the fire alarm cleared out most of the people here. During the raid the cameras were all shot out and the records wiped. All possible witnesses were killed.

Sieri stands there looking calm but on high alert.....she waits to see what becomes of Gundark's questions....

(BTW, Julie, Avalar was the place the first story was about)

Lance, Xeth, and Mah, the police are about to destroy that tracker, unless you guys have other ideas.

Lance, you have noticed something about the main area. Nearly all the blast marks are on the floor, with only the occasional one on the wall. The floating defence spheres this place uses would fire downwards towards people. This suggests very little gunfire back at them.

Xeth, there is something about the total destruction of the storage room that is bugging you...

And Mah, you can't help wondering why, if this was a destructive raid, they didn;t blow up this control room as well.

There is also something odd about the timing of it all. The security staff here say that the intruders only just escaped before security broke through the fire doors and got in. That took about five minutes. But the sounds of fighting finished after ONE minute. They could have set charges and got out in 30 seconds- what were they doing in that extra time?
