Yes, Hal has totally stopped the telepathy of Hector Hammond, The Faceless Hunters, Gorilla Grodd, the Shark, the Martian Manhunter, and more...but never all at once! And while he put a valiant effort against Despero, he eventually got overtaken there.

most of those guys are not only capable of also soloing this team, a few of them have tp strong enough to mind-rape the entire team. this is a complete slaughter, you do not send canon fodder against a good GL. They have no way of stopping him if he wants to win.

Think is, because it seems to be a random fight, there may only be one telepath that tries to get into Hals mind off the bat and thats Prof. Hals ring most likely will let him know of their powers. Once Prof sees that Hals has a high resistance, Emma and others may join in. If that happens, they may be able to take him. If Hal targets them first, he wins without much trouble imo.

No. Polaris takes control of Hal's ring and/or energy, and Xavier shuts his mind down. Simple.

Half of the X-Team isn't needed.

Hal has some of the best tp resistance feats around. Xavier does not have the TP firepower to put Hal down before Hal counters. If Hal just does an AOE blast, they are finished.

Not to mention that even if that were to happen, it wouldn't take out Emma, Darwin, or Shadowcat. And Nightcrawler could teleport out of the way.
