The U.S. Constitution Mentions Jesus Christ

Yay Christians. 😐
I say we just vote on everything. The End. Then the majority rules, which is another idea this country was founded on.

Christians. No offense, I mean this!

But, the word Christian automatically makes most things bad.

Christian mosh-pit...

Christian ice cream, now with more god!

Christian music...

Christian music (Christian rock and stuff I mean) has to be the shitiest stuff ever made. It should be outlawed.

Do you think the United States should uphold christian values? I've heard from multiple people that blab about the United States being founded on Christian values. Do you think this is so?

I may post my opinion later but for now I'd like to remain a neutral party seeing as how I posted this.

"Congress shall make no laws establishing a satate religion.......etc,etc,etc

And it's not a big deal that Representative Ellison took his Oath of Office on the Koran. If anything, it just shows the diversity of the US.

Hail satan? hail jeebus?

Exactly.

Thomas Jefferson grew marijuana and had slaves. I suppose by this logic both should still be legal.

Though personally I think pot should be legal

I say you just don't interfere in anything but things that harm others. Which, is freedom. And good. The most principle value your country was founded on.

Is probably the wisest course of action.

Except for apathy, which is a pathetic course of action.

True, true, I meant it more for the "I'm an Atheist" then for the "so I don't care."

Far to much apathy in the world today.

Wow, this thread got worse.

When a thread is conceived and born as bad as this one I'd have thought it would be hard to identify at which point it actually gets worse. But since you apparently have you deserve a gold star.

Apathy isn't any course of action. It is a course of inaction.

I think it'd be hilarious if the Aztecs were right and the world ends in 2012 or whenever. I'm gonna laugh so hard if that happens. If it doesn't, I'm still gonna laugh, because some people think this is a Christian nation and don't even truly understand what the founding fathers had hoped to establish since we've done such a good job of not upholding their values.

George Washington acknowledges that God protected him in battle.

"Interesting evidence for Divine Providence in Washington's life is given in David Barton's "The Bulletproof George Washington." On July 9, 1755, Colonel George Washington was involved in a 2-hour siege during the French and Indian War. Being an officer, he was one of many special targets for the Indians. Of the eighty-six British and American officers, sixty-three were killed. Washington was the only officer on horseback not shot down."
