They are just being realistic, there isn't a man on this earth that wouldn't have sex Yvonne Strahovski given the chance.

It's why I liked the first few episodes where Dexter was acting pretty creepy and manipulative and Deb was questioning him.
Yeah, like his true self was being unmasked. That was great. But now even when he doesn't need to perform, a cute little blonde brings out feelings. Sociopath my ass.

This season is dragging due to the unnecessary stuff they throw in there and stupid this BS about

Spoiler:
Batista Retiring
, i hope it picks up soon!

The context for this gif made me lol. I miss sociopath Dexter. He was so much more amusing when he was baffled by everything around him.

Agreed. I much preferred that awkward bastard and his inner monologue.

I liked his quirky inner statements like:

I miss lines like that. They're part of what got me interested in the show to begin with.

agreed. these types of monologues are not in the recent seasons, and its most likely to do with his character development.

It's a regressive development. Instead of becoming more interesting, Dexter himself is becoming more boring. I maintain, the "hero" of this show is now Deb. Dexter is just a plot device for her story.

I like the way you think!

So unless Russian mobster man and the Russian Dexter killed were gay anal lovers, I so called it. Seems like it's Russian mobster's son.
Ha!

Spoiler:
Holy **** @ Dexter just murdering some random dude. 😮

'We could have just gone halvses'

There were more lulz in this episode. I liked that.

I dunno, there was plenty of lame in this episode. Like that one plotline I'd hoped they'd avoid like the plague.

This season feels very directionless. Theres no endgoal in sight and no central plot. It makes me feel very disconnected. The first 4 episodes were fantastic, but now I think its gone off the rails.

I can't believe that Laguerta is the one single plotline thats really interesting, but nothings coming from it. This had better lead to something.

Edit: That talk with Isaak at the end was excellent though.

It feels like they wrote one long season, and then divided it in two--this being the first half. But they've introduced every major plot thread at once and don't know how to juggle them all. Laguerta's is the one storyline I'm looking forward to (for the first time ever), and I think they're gonna be saving that for the finale and season 8.

Yeah, I should have stuck with my first instinct of gay-anal-lovers. My error. It won't happen again.

I think you are right on the Money.

(A cliffhanger ending the way they are currently doing Breaking Bad!)

The girl that Quinn is with is way hotter imo.

It's just her accent. Even Cate Blanchett was hot with a Russian accent, no matter how stupid that costume looked.

True, Lucien knows. Kate Beckinsale in Van Helsing (I think) had a russian accent which was hot.

She was Romanian in Van Helsing (same diff), but wasn't she russian in Total Recal (haven't watched it)l?

Regardless she could be talking in jibberish and drooling and I still would find her sexy.
