Think it's over 100. Above 10, maybe, but not to a height where that level of speed is involved. We can see the entire mountain, with Titans as small blobs climbing it, at the end of GoW2 with that pan-up shot at the begining of GoW3, again giving the Titans to scale.Said it's on major hold.
Just dropping by, but wanted to say it's several thousands of miles tall, via a lore statement in one of the guides and a veteran lead dev vetting the statement.
The shape and size we see at the end of Gow2's cg is simply an inconsistency.
Gow3 retcons it to be a thin, towering spire, whose top is completely unseeable from the ground, and not some weird stumpy column shape. It's also inconsistent with a derived height feat at the very start of Gow2: Kratos descending from Olympus on to Rhodes, which is ~400 miles away on the other side of the Aegean Sea.
Also Ares descending into some eastern country against the barbarians, coming from above the clouds, while other mountains are nearby on the horizon and their tops are completely visible, under said clouds.
So yeah. Maybe I'll get it done this year. I got a week break between quarters in september or october.
I'll buy the inconsistency, just seeing Pandoras mountains drastic chance from 1 to 3 is enough. But would like to see the confirmation as the linear rise in the begining of 3 doesn't suggest that size given we can scale from the titans size, so probably when your page is updated?
And on a more relevant note; CC <3
Hmmm. The trick with Sephiroth is:We've never actually seen his best. By Power Scaling, we know that, since he's stated to be the best in his universe, his speed and strength can be based off other characters.
As such, his speed can be considered to be 'one step up from Chaos Vincent/Omega Weiss' and strength/durability 'one step up from WEAPONS.' As WEAPONS can take a Sister Ray to the chest...
Thus, Sephiroth's limits are generally 'one step up from the otherwise best showings of other beings in the FF7 universe.'
This doesn't mean he can beat Kratos, necessarily, but he might not be as curbstomped as it looks.
As a side note, Supernova is an illusion. That's why it does percentage damage and can't kill anyone.
Kratos doesn't seem to have any resistance to status effects, should Sephiroth whip Pale Horse or Descend Heartless Angel out. Or even Geostigma, though that won't take Kratos out quickly. It does let Seph play a waiting game if he gets killed the first time, though, and just reform later through yet another Advent.
Lastly, if this is Composite Sephiroth, his Kingdom Hearts showings must also be taken into account.
Sephiroth>>>>Hercules (Disney version...) and Rock and Ice Titans, as well as Hades. And Cerberus, for what it's worth. Kingdom Hearts is the only showing of Sephiroth vs. Greek Entities, so there's really nothing else to judge on. He is generally Sora's toughest opponent in every game he appears in. (You can get Ansem SoD and Xemnas on the first try. Sephiroth? Probably not.)
