Seems alot like the other Abyss only on a greater level.

Unfortunately I don't have Death Metal issues.
But I'll try to get my hands on em,
this guy seems worthy of the thread.

Nice find CD. 🙂

Thanks. 💃

1. ALL Other Eternity/Infinity's

2. ALL Other (Death - Lord Chaos & Master Order)

3. rest of the Abstracts

Thanks!

I know what were Classic Beyonder and MM, but would remove them, since it was retconned (I know it is all time list), but those two, hence the retcon, never were all that.

I wouldn't share Scahtan with LT, since he was shown to be higher than him, although it is said LT only second to TOAA, but not in this case. Protege is equal to LT or logically, potentially more powerful.

I would also give Wanda to share the place with LT.
And based how was sometimes Impossible Man written, he should be in the first place, easily, if not counting TOAA.
I would give Havok with nexus beyond MJJ and Jamie and actually to share with LT and Wanda. The difference was, that he actually became one with it. I wouldn't be surprised, if he would take Wanda out.
I think he should be able to do anything, even with the top tiers, due to what he had become, the actual embodiment. But maybe should have more feats.

My opinion.

Don't be so specific in a fictional creation.

Besides,
the one Kubik gave was more intricate:

Kosmos says,

"Infinity by it's very nature is unsurpassable."

Kubik replies,

"Consider then the Set called Whole Numbers - 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on, is it not Infinite?"

Kosmos answers,

"Obviously."

Kubik retorts,

"Then consider the Set called Even Numbers - 2, 4, 6, 8 and so on, how long is it?

Kosmos responds,

"Why Infinite of course."

Kubik with wisdom,

"Half of Infinity is still Infinity, and the same would be true of the Set of Odd Numbers?

Kosmos answers,

"Of course."
........................................................................................

Kubik explains,

"Both Sets are Infinite, and yet the Set of Whole Numbers contains BOTH Subsets,

and is therefore TWICE as Large as either Subset Alone"

........................................................................................

Kubik finishes,

"Thus are demonstrated TWO LEVELS of Infinity,

there are of course, an INFINITE number MORE"

🙂

This subject is dead concerning this thread yall

Marvel comics is what rules in this thread, and Marvel comics alone.

And all you're capable of doing is making an appeal to authority on the subject.

Them using a word wrong does not make it right within their comics, despite whatever you may think it does NOT justify marvel using terms and phrases incorrectly.

If I call a cat a car, it does not make the cat a car. It simply means I've used a term incorrectly. And Marvel is NOT an authority on proper word usage as they also refer to Jubilee as a pyrokinetic. Them calling her a pyrokinetic doesn't MAKE her a pyrokinetic. Them calling something infinite does not make it infinite. Them calling something an omniverse doesn't make it an omniverse. Them calling a cat a car would no more make the cat a car than I would.

And your opinion that them calling something makes it that something is an invalid appeal to authority.

Infinity includes ALL the numbers. Infinity + 1 is still infinity. Infinity times infinity is.. you guess it, infinity. If something is infinity in the first level the second level is not MORE infinity. It's much a kin to a child or a retarded person saying "More bestest". Gibberish nonsense. Or Articulate quasi-animte transitory plasmoids... Complete hogwash.

I gotta be honest Cresh,

the instant I saw you were back on the same tip I ignored the rest of your post.

No offense dogs
but I asked you respectfully not to spam the thread with more anit-Marvel rhetoric.

I'm honestly not interested in any opinions that directly contradict Marvel comic book facts.

So once again,
according to Marvel Comics,
withIN the fantasy/fictional world of Marvel comics,
"there are levels of Infinity."

If you dislike/disagree with this fact,
take it up with Marvel. 🙂

This isn't the thread for that.

Hey make a thread on the subject, and do you. 👆
(but please keep it out of here ... thanx friend)

It is also theoretically and logically impossible for two beings to have evolved from cubes and have the power to manipulate reality, but there they are.

The simple fact is

Marvel makes its own rules.

If it says there are levels of infinity, then there are.

That is a simple fact. 😎

I have to disagree with ya there X.

While they're definitely not at their classic levels,
they are still very impressive, especially Molecule Man.

The LT himself called Owen Reece (limited version)

"One of the most powerful beings in all Creation" (Omniverse)

................................................................................

In that issue, MM & Beyonder (Post-retcon) battled,
during that fight,
reality within realities across the entire Multiverse and beyond were warped.

"from the Quantum to the Trans-Multiversal,
Reality trembles as the forces unleashed reverberate through out creation"

You know what "Trans-" means right?

Oh yea, ... this is very impressive.

Actually in that issue they were equals at best.
Scathan still needed the LT to completely vanquish Protege.

Also, LT never battled Protege,
and Protege had just acquired LT's powers,
I doubt he could've harnessed them as effectively as the LT
who's had them forever,
you feel me?

But Scathan did show sufficient dominance to be considered atleast LT level.

Protege is equal to LT or logically, potentially more powerful.

But Protege didn't have enough time to learn how to properly harness LT's power.

And Protege could never be more powerful than the LT,
because in the end the LT stated that power beyond this existence is meaningless.

No way.

I forgot about IM.

We may have to consider this further, cause you're actually right.

I have to disagree,
Havok/Nexus is an Omniversal buster, there are sevearl as the list point out.
But having said power doesn't mean that there are others above you.

That's where Marvel's concept of "levels of Infinity" fits in.

Merlyn/Matyrix can do anything Havok can,
and yet 238 Jaspers (who had only warped one Universe at the time)
was more powerful than Merlyn
(who fused the entire Omniverse into tiny crystals to be used with the CN)

i dont know how this works, but i think the brothers should be greater than classic jaspers if not at the very least a shared spot....btw when was the CN brought into play in MU?

The Brothers are conceptual entities
and concepts are nothing to Jaspers/Jamie and the like.

Matrix/Merlyn's power was off the charts (Omniversal)
and he admitted that not only Jaspers was too powerful for him,
but that even Jaspers 238 (weaker version) had already twarted his abilities.

Jasper's Warp would have undoubtably remade the entire Omniverse
if not for the plot device (the Fury)

On panel, Cobweb actually peered into the Future
and saw it happening in a reality were Jaspers was not stopped by the Fury.

The Dimensional Development Court (Omniversal Tribune)
were the first to use it on panel, on Reality 238, in 83'
it was in non-canon UK titles published under Marvel at the time,
in the early 90's it streamed into continuity.

The weapon itself was created by Merlyn,
we know this because it originated in Otherworld
and Merlyn created everything in Otherworld
after he merged with the Omniversal Energy Matrix.

As you can see,
he also created the Captain Britain Corps
who were managed by the Omniversal Tribune,
in other words, Merlyn must've set that up too.

thanx cuz i remeber reading Moore's cap brit. and the bald guy who was vying for the top spot was all like " with a melo-dramatic adjusting of these dials so shall an enitre universe be obliterated, and blah blah" and boom everything except the fury was dead so i was wondrering if that was it

Exactly, that was Mandragon who was the hgihest official at the time of the DDC,
he had the power of choice to destroying any universe in the Omniverse with the CN.

Roma then took a more active role,
and at some point during the first Britain series,
she became the manager of the Britain corps,
she also became the keeper/wielder of the CN.
