Other than a few hugely situational wins over Winter and Hellstrike in Prime, Midnighter's most impressive win was over Assassin8... and Assassin8 was just a skilled human with some prep. He beat Midnighter initially (due to his prep), and even when his nerotoxin's didn't work the second time, he still fought Midnighter for an entire issue before he was beaten (by getting shot). Midnighter did imply that there where faster ways for him to have won, but that was just the scenario he liked, but still.

Would not be the first time wolverine did not attack nor would it be the last.
well cis being on there is good chance he will attack 50/50.
also he wouldnt know about this tactic not that it would matter..
at worse logan tells him lets get it on and midnighter starts to monologue and logan would be all you gonna yap all day flappin them gums or commence with the claw city rumble...
midnighter be all waiting on you sunshine....
logan would respond: i aim to stick these claws where the sun dont shine..
midnighter: that sounds like fun, lets get to it..
Wolverine: you batting for the other team, bub?
Midnighter: what if i am, you homophobic?
Wolverine: i am an equal opportunist @$$kicker...
Midnighter: then lets do it!
Wolverine: bah, you aint worth extruding the old adamantium claws... all talk.

If Mid attacks first, he cant fight.🙂
Wolverine doesn't even need to use that strategy. In Midnighter Armeggedon, Midnighter fought some Fallout 3 Raider looking rejects and he stated there was only 5 possible winning scenarios for him, and further more than 55 was his average winning scenario count. If 55 is his average, and there was only 5 wins for him against those D-list losers, than 0 winning scenarios is real possibility against Wolverine. Just like when Kev's SAS buddies held him at gun point and Midnighter couldn't come up with a win that didn't involve Apollo.

Not realy, if he given basic knowledge that says Midnighter powersis that he conculates thousands of fight scenarios based off his opponents first move.
It's not basic knowledge that he needs them to attack first, also there maybe some showings that contradict that.

Lets be honest Wolverine usually takes the iniative, but there are times when he can be crafty and stealthy.

How do you know they were losers? Cos it seems you're making assumptions again it could be an indication on how good they were.

He craft and stealthy a lot of the time. Only time he depicted like your saying is in when on a team. True I think there 50/50 shot either way, based on what constitutes as basic knowledge. As srank stated Wolverine does not even need to do this in order to win.
