Exactly. You have nothing to go on. Therefore, you can't make a rational argument for CS. Superman wins.
and that also means you cant go off of feats alone the reason i'm going for cs is simple:

i understand superman's powers
i understand how superman thinks and fights
i understand what powers the uniforce gives
i understand how spider-man thinks and fights
for this battle spider-man has full control and experience with the uniforce

that last reason alone is why i think he would be the winner in this fight

that's really the fairest way to analize the fight

Meh. The only one I want is Zelda....and it's coming out for the Gamecube I already own.

The rest are just remakes of older titles.

Super Smash Bros? Yawn. So they added a few characters. Whoopee....

Super Mario? Yawn. I'll wait for the next Super Mario 64 thank you very much.

I'll get a Wii...I'll get ALL three systems eventually....but I'll wait until something interests me.

Super Mario Galaxy looks insanely good and I generally don't even like Mario games.

The main selling point is IMO, the Virtual Console stuff.

Having a lack to go on due to the lack of the material of the character does not equate to an automatic win for another, Spiderman's limits were never shown or never verified. This match is different because it has him with full knowledge, but that's far different from the comic since he was learning the scope of his powers and they had very little time to show them. That doesn't equate to lack of skill on his behalf.

It's like trying to argue with a missing part of the forumla and trying to find a solution, the result is still unknown.

And how exactly does that equate to Spider-man winning?

Me too.

The Wii is a Gamecube disguised as another system and has a cheap gimmick controller scheme that has everyone fooled.

You're paying $250 for a last-gen system and a gimmick.

More specifically, you're paying for the controller.

Which is why the majority of people are buying it.

The Xbox 360 has no RPGs that I like. MAJOR minus points for me.

I'll get the PS3 eventually....when the price goes down.

The Wii is roughly twice as powerful as the cube, has the wifi and opera browser built in which aren't bad, but I may decide to wait until the next gen of non-gamecube ports before I buy it.

The Xbox 360 has the same issue that the original xbox had with me....asstastic games. Rpg and fighting need to come up. Personally I hate 1st person shooters.

Lastly, the PS3 may have priced itself out of the competition. While I'm fine, most people I know can't afford a $600+ system plus games. I want MGS4 as bad as the next guy but I need more reassurance...especially with the history Sony has with shoddy build quality of the 1st gen systems.

Proof of success against similar powers, circumstances and characters are indeed far more valuable on this forum than the NOTHING you're bringing to the table. If you don't like the way the forum works, go play in the street. The scans have everything to do with this. I can't believe you can't see how badly you lost this debate yet.
can any of theos scans really speak for how spider-man would fight an oppnent? no the thing is none of these characters think and act the same even if they have similar powers doesnt mean they would approch a situation the same way you dont see that yet? you cant understand that you cant call a fight based of of similarity alone the best it gives you is a rough idea of how some situations would go that's in no way going to show how an entire fight will turn out

Show me in the thread where I said that, I believe I said it equates to an unknown.

Can you or any other in this thread give me an idea of what Spiderman's Level is due to the specifications in this thread?

It's okay looking. I still have a bad burn from Mario Sunshine but it's nothing new. Except you can wave the magic wand to make him jump. Whoopee....

The Virtual Console IS very interesting...but I'm gonna wait until all the bugs (there WILL be bugs) are fixed and it's all set up with LOTS of stuff to download.

However the thing is that I can download old Nintendo ROM games from the Internet and play them on my TV.

Alot of the appeal is lost to me...

There's no difference except storage space...and you can always upgrade later....

There's actually a lot of differences they cut out of the cheaper system from what I understand, such as HDMI support for example.

Apparently you don't know all of Superman's powers and the way he fights. He eats guys like CS for breakfast week in and week out. Cosmic Spider-man isn't going to win the majority. Everything he offers, Superman can easily defend against, and can capitalize on the situation. Superman ftw.

Same thing as the 60 GB ($600) version. The only minor differences is that the 600 dollar one has more ports to connect your digital camera and PSP to it...but who would spend an extra $100 dollar for that?!
Hell no, I have a 200 dollar digital camera. I need to read up on the specs of that again.

So then you know what Spiderman is capable of?

Actually, that's for the Spider-man supporters to prove... not me.

Legend of Zelda, Metroid Prime 3, on an on. Nintendo has the most impressive lineup of games for the remainder of this year. Sony has almost entirely cross-platformers. And Microsoft has only Gears of War and crossplatformers, since Halo is out in the distance.

Blasts, transmutation, enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, durability, telepathy, yada yada etc. etc.

The Wii is about a third more powerful. It's not much. And I really hate that it lacks current-gen technology. The wifi is nice though...

Exactly. The reason I don't like the Xbox is they specialize in shooting games. Not to say they're bad games but I really don't like shooting games....

The PS3 won't sell as much in the first quarter. But the price will go down. Simple economics. We won't see who's the dominant system until about three years. Just like the last two generations. The first and second PS2 had expensive prices and crappy launch titles....but they still won in the end.

HDMI was added to the $500 model thanks to loud internet fanboys. 👆

And I think the Sony lineup for next year is certainly the best, at least for me. They have the best fighting and action games, mostly exclusive to boot.

ok how about i put it like this NOT EVERY FIGHT IS THE SAME if things worked out like that then we would see the same stratigy being used every time hereos go up against their common villians does sups beat darkseid the exact same way he did the first time? the exact same punch the exact same moves? no because it doesnt work like that feats give you a rough idea nothing more they cant determin the whole fight

But you're placing a win because he doesn't have as many feats as a character who has basically invented a ton of feats.

Reminds me of Supes vs Surfer, Supes wins, but noone ever got to explaining how it happened. Just posted feats.

And we only saw him with basic knowledge of his powers, and he punked Thor, which we consider around Superman level on the forum. My point is have we ever saw Spiderman at the established limit that the thread specifies?

Sony has alot of original and exclusive games that appeal to me.

Primarily Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Suikoden, Okami, Ratchet and Clank, etc. That's the strength of Sony. Lots of exclusives.

Nintendo has it's flagship titles of course...but it needs to stop relying on those. It needs to get exclusives from other companies. It made the right decision to get an exclusive on RE4 last gen...until Sony got a chunk of their profits when Capcom made it for them too....

Yes, people love Nintendo's first party launches, but they need more in the third party area.
