I swear I just talk crap..no one ever comments on my posts when i go on about the stages thing and where it points for each charater..its like no one believes me or understand me (I'm so crap at explaining things)...Oh well Vogler and Campbell do understand so thats a bonus because they have best selling books on the subject..since the 1940's 😄 ) 🙁

I could post a long ass theory and post an interview with ted/terry saying hey its a jack liz ending and no one will listen. If you post it everybody will listen!! so you never talk crap-thats not true. you never blabber.

Maybe someone else has already said it, but I think either the writers are just being vague and purposely not saying anything definite, or one of them defines a love triangle as a strange relationship for three people to be in, and the other defines it as at least two people in it being in love with someone who is at least half in love with both of them. I don't think this disproves Jack/Liz because one writer might be hinting Liz doesn't love Will. I would still call it a love triangle.

i totally agree with you Chiki...to be a love triangle there doesnt really HAVE to be three complete people in love...I guess you could call it an unfinished triangle...Jack is in One corner, Liz is in the other, and Will is the weird shaped part of it becasue Liz only partially loves him. So one writer may only see a triangle as a triangle but the other may have his kind open to the triangle not being so much a triangle, make sense?

love triangle means 1 woman and 2 men

or 1 man and 2 women

imagine the sape of a triangle..Liz is at the top Jack/Will at either of the other points

I was just watching CotBP again and I have to say..I cant tell. It could be either. If it ended Jack/Liz it would fit in well with PotC 1 as a movie..if it ended Will/Liz it would fit in well with PotC 1 as a movie..

I'm going to be honest here..movie 1 Jack/Liz is developing into something in DMC ..movie 1 Will/Liz isnt really developing into anything in movie 2..

To me it seems as if Jack/Liz is the true love story in the series..at the moment anyway because they have started with chemistry and the chemistry is continuing where as Will/Liz chemistry has fizzled out already.

Actually it will be Liz/Barbossa....They have developed a very strong relationship...he even gave her a dress. 😉

IMO Norrington is the only one who truly loves Lizzy for her. He has been in her company more than Will while she was growing up. I don't think she was just a matter of convenience on what he had not achieved.

Lovely 1 you are right on target. I don't think he loved her til she chained him at the end (murdering him).

But I don't see a triangle unless it's Norri, Will and Jack with Liz in the center. Is that still a triangle?

he was infatuaded with her because of what she did to him in movie 1 however..that then turned to love by the end of DMC like you say tee hee 😄
