260,000,000 were murdered over the last century alone under dictatorship that were hostile to any form of Religion. Thats almost as much as the American population.Karl Marx has started such terrible massacre and killed millions of my ancestors and I think he is a such a fool. The deaths saddens me to this day. I am a Catholic and I know that my religion dosent kill today and I bet you they never will. I have no answer why they killed back then during their crusades.
That's a big number you have there, and I'm not quite sure where you got it. And it's nice of you to blame Karl Marx, a man who had no responsibility for the atrocities committed by those who warped his theories. Theoretically I can blame Jesus yes for the Crusades and Inquisition and the actions of Christian colonialism (you know, Africa, North America, South America etc.)
But anyway - religion from the beginning of time? There are the various things Christians have done. Then there are the Muslim actions (the events in the India region that may have cost the lives of 10 million up to 100 million people) and so on. Oh, and if you actually believe the Bible the Christians and Jews are a party to murder on a mass scale. What with the children of Egypt and the world that got drowned.
Religion is about as far from purity as a person can get in history.
The bible doesn't allow it, so they were NOT real christians, the bible is the word of god so there you go.
Silly, silly boy. Girl. Whatever. First there is advocacy of violence on a massive scale in the Bible.
Second the only thing a person needs to be in order to qualify as Christian is a believer that Jesus is the Christ. Everything else is irrelevant. Got Jesus? Your Christian. Christians have killed. You argument? Kaput.
It still shows that you have killed and murdered the most. I wouldnt really say Baron d'Holbach of starting it but if you say so.
Oh really?
And catholics, many other religions, and also races.....
So basically.... everyone who was a political risk to them? By Jove! Political groups, religious groups, and everything in between. Yes, that damns Atheists for sure (you do realise there were plenty of Nazis who still had faith don't you? And that religion was still a big part of Nazi doctrine yes?)
Satan promotes violence and all that is evil...you worship him, you basically worship murder, deciet, anger, hate, terrorism, the works...sounds radical, but its true because its all pure evil. But I dont hate anyone, not even satan. But I disagree with satanisim.
Ummm - idiot? You do realise that not believing in God doesn't actually mean one believes in the Devil? Not believing in God means we also don't believe in the Devil. Or anything else of the kind for that matter. We believe, get this, in humanity! In the fact we are responsible for our own actions. That people are good or evil, not some divine scape goat.
Down with that? It shows the fundamental ignorance of your mind set to operate under the view "Don't have God.... they worship Satan!" Idiocy to the highest degree. But if I did believe in Satan it would be like lil' b said - Satan seems to be far more a symbol of open mindedness and progress then "Don't ask questions, just believe" God.
Oh, and another thing that people forget - there is a difference between Satanists and "Devil Worshippers" - a profound difference in outlook.
All i've seen you guys do is repeat yourself over and over againChaos(or unrestrained or uninhibited" by LAW/rules) leads to death, destruction and misery to all.
It means that you shouldn't put others before yourself, cause you don't have to, meaning you could kill anyone you want because your the only person who matters to yourself.
If everybody was christian, there would be no war, and there would be less destruction or misery.
But people would still fall out over pathetic reasons if everyone wasn't christian, (Suspicion turns into meaningless war *cough* Blair *cough*)
so its everyone BUT christianitys fault for wars.
What do they put in the water over there... stupid pills or something?
First of all - zero statistical data that atheism leads to amorality, lawlessness or the predisposition to nihilistic anarchy. In fact the opposite. Atheists are just as capable of charitable action.
Second - Christianity has never been able to keep its own house in order. As all those brutally punished "heretics" will attest.
Third - Atheism does not lead to "putting oneself first"
Fourth - Your argument is crap and based upon zero statistical, sociological, psychological or anthropological data. Can you say... baseless?
It wasn't a christian who sent troops over to attack iraq you know.
Um... so Bush is an Atheist is he? The Republicans are Atheists are they?
