What determines if a character is above Street Level?

Hence why I say he is a street "hero" but not a street level character. His threats are generally street (save for upgraded Electro, Sandman, Venom, Carnage, New Ock), Toxin (at some points)...

Wait a second, maybe he isn't as street as it seemed at first glance... 😕

He seems to spend a lot more time stopping muggers than he does fighting Metas for what it's worth.

Lol you reply fast.

I do agree for the most part. Superman started out that way too...

Wolverine faces up against guys who aren't your common mugger though. So would he be more of a meta hero (but then again that's more on the X-Team).

His power isn't really all that much above street tbh, it's just his durability+HF that allow him to hang with people multiple tiers above him. Which is the same as Deathstroke's instantaneous reflexes and vaguely enhanced stats allowing him to punk Heralds.

They're still straddling the edge of street and meta, and I wouldn't say either of them are "easily" above street when street includes people like Batman and Captain America.

What i meant was his HF+damage soak + claws etc etc make him imo quite a bit above street level.

It's the "quite a bit above" that I disagree with. IMO he's on the line and can be either street or meta based on your interpretation.

Where do you see his stats (besides healing) in comparison with Cap and DD?

You need to read more Marvel comics then. When someone can solo armies of top trained people over and over again they are quite a bit above street level. This can also be said about DC characters.

Batman is in street and he could do what you described with both hands tied behind his back. uhuh

Thats why hes above street with his feats and skill but he just operates there.

if he's got laser beams coming out of his eyes then he's above street level.

..or anyone stronger than spiderman or cap.

I'm sure there might be some characters with laser eyes that are street?

Superman works on the daily bugle? Is he a street leveler? 😱

Thanos got arrested by the NYPD, hes street level.

What about squirrel girl?

No it not at all, because wolverine is easily a match for DS physically, but also has a crazy healing factor.

DS punking heralds is still utter BS, as is woilverine, spiderman ect doing it.

I guess it is how you look at it. Wolverine was considered on the board peak human in 05, then he became enhanced and now low level super. There were times where people considered him stronger than DD but weaker than Cap except for healing. If you use his crazy feats then yes.

People 05 were morons. I sorry, but he neevr once even been suggested to be anything but super human phsyically. This crazy myth that he was peak-human was just that a myth created by the boards, based off hate.

Yea people considering him weaker then capt was laughable. What worse during that time we had idiots like colossus whateve his name was who had him physically inferior to DD and that he loses to him.......thats straight up ignorance....these are same people who had wolverine beeing not even top 15 best fighters on the x-men as well.........it was absurd.

Logan does not need to uses his crazy feats to beconsider meta human. This is a guy who back in early 90's and late eighties was throwing sharks, picking up tree's as base ball bats ect.

Slade in the books has been coined almost superhuman. Which is what classic Black Panther and Cap are at regular levels anyways.

Thats not really more on the x-team at all. His rogues are wendigo, sabre-tooth, he fought hulk numerous times, omega red ect.

He has clear meta human rouges. When Wolverine does fight human threats, it never common muggers it armys of soldiers or hang ninja's.
