USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FIRST ASSIGNMENT- 'The Museum'

Not high enough to get there before the Agent removes this thing.

Indecision costs lives; I shall have to press you.

Ok, I'll jump across first, Barb can leap with Ares, then I can try and catch him if something happens.

Barb will be dropping his swords and gun for this, to lighten his encumberance and hopefully make it easier.

(and here is showing why AL makes a good backup power to have, even if you normally carry weapons that'd put you over the encumberance limit!)

It needs AL to successfully take Ares with you, that's more or less a requirement for this situation.

How far are they from the window? Anything closer they could get to?

How about throwing me through a window?

They could do that, if they left themselves there.

Lana- no.

How about if one of us threw him? And the other jumped across to catch him?

Ok, let's break this down. Each of you can either take time to get yourself through a window, or Ares.

Ok, I think we have come to the agreement to leave Ares on the railings and jump across, I'll throw my sword over if I can (wish I had that flying weapon power from last time now 😛)

Ares is fine with this; he'd rather have his comrades get away with the possibility of coming back for him instead of the lot of them tumbling to the ground with an Agent on top.

Ok, you guys escape into the building, as the fire escape comes crashing down, which doesn't do Ares any favours, but it's not a fatal fall.

The Agent is going to move towards him, but both Dallas and Marduk unload onto him up top with Ten Thousand Bullets.

After swerving, the Agent looks up

"I think you made him mad," says Marduk.

"Told you that would work!" says Dallas.

---

San- Melis' life signs are unsteady.

Ares remains perfectly still, hoping that the Agent leaves and that if he moves, the pain from the fall won't be too much.

San sighs, and will do what she can to stabilize Melis, if possible.

"Hurry up, will you..."

Melis is suffering from cadiac trauma. Her ribs are broken.

---

The Agent starts to leap up the wall. His leaps send him smashing into the side of the building with his fists, creating gaps he uses as a handhold to grip the building and then propel himself up further.

"For the love of sanity, reload!" says Mardul, as he and Dallas back away.

"All spent," says Dallas.

"What about your bag full of spare ammo?"

"My bag? Oh, I left that in the car."

Ares will start moving towards Melis.

Where's the exit?

(sometimes I really wonder about Dallas...and this is one of those times...)

And...that's not good. Somehow I doubt it, but would the regular effect from HC work outside of the Matrix (the +2 or whatever it is for Medicine rolls)? Because I do have Medicine...and would rather like to keep her from dying.

Barb would like to know where the exit phone is.

Dragging yourself towards really, Ares; what with all the battering your ankle has gone.

It's inside the apartment complex whose door Melis's body smashed open.

Paths never work outside the Matrix. Treatment would be better given to her there.

I have no idea where I am at this point... But If I'm close to Marduk, I'll take over where Dallas was.

Err, you really have lost track!
