"I think I would have grabbed the key more for the reason that we were sent there to find out what was going on...I mean, doing something simply to annoy something that can kill you really can't be the smartest thing in the world to do. That'd be like deciding to swipe an Agent's tie because you can't kill them."
"Well I think there is only one way to get these answers go back into the Matrix and get them. I think if we go to find anyone we should try and find the Hunter. Could have killed Heph and taken the key without worry but didn't instead he only made sure he couldn't do anything. So if it is inteligent then it is probably the least hostile and probably our best bet to get answers" Berserker turns and looks at everyone and adds "Of course does anyone else have any ideas."
"I'm...really not. I never saw the Hunter or the others inside the museum, but the ones we fought outside, that kept reasserting themselves...they might have been able to do that, and seemed to be stronger than we expected, but they didn't really seem like they were more competent than us or anything like that. Agents just are another thing entirely." San replied, shaking her head.
(hmmm...)
"Berserker, lad, I don't think I agree with you there," says Finn. "That Hunter, whatever it is, was determined to get that ke and if it could have done it would. But it decided to get out of there instead."
"Why did it free Heph then?" asks Dallas. "What's it trying to do, win favours from us?"
"I can't tell you," says Finn. "But I'll tell you this. You are talking about what's more dangerous. But Agents only turn up when there is trouble. We can predict them. Exiles seem to be the type who CAUSE trouble. And we might have to be the ones that pay for it."
"I can't tell you much about the key," says Ariadne. "It is complex, yes. It's basically a code/cipher sequence for bypassing a security lockout somewhere in the system."
"Wait..." says Dallas. "Are you telling me it UNLOCKS something?"
"Ihh... yeah?"
"Oh, WOW. Thanks there, Ariadne. I'm glad you came. I'd already worked out the damn thing unlocked something!. WHAT does it unlock?"
"I have no idea," says Ariadne, sniffily. "But it's a very old sequence."
"I hear ya Finn but the solution remains the same if we want answers where going to have to go in and get them if you ask me" Berserker loks to everyone though. "Now though I do have one question that maybe we can answer outside what would a bunch of fugitive programs want with a key that unlocks something. I mean we're talking about programs that are basically slaves and scum in the Matrix and one program that shouldn't even exist in the Hunter. What reason would they want a key and be willing to fight for it?"
"Yeah, he's right," says Dallas, "we do need answers. And we're going to go get them. Sequel! You got a broadcast point for us yet?"
"Yeah," he says, "but it's pretty far o..."
"Ok! Set a course. Ariadne, Finn, get some hacks in worked out; we'll be broadcasting in as soon as we get there. Any of you guys want to rest, do it now. Because we're going in FULL strength again. FULL power. I'm getting every person in that I can, and we are going to hit with maximum force, and we're not leaving until we get what we want."
He looks around at all of you.
"Yup," he says. "We're going to see the Oracle..."
