ivebeendepped, sooner or later you'll know I'll do it lol. I just finnished my web and I have been doing a trillion things. Those includes fanfiction 😄.
lovethemtigers, the book isn't released in Puerto Rico (where I live). I believe there are some states that have it-I THINK! I'm not sure. But I have a friend who scans it. The only part that I know about the book is the sweet moment between Jack and Elizabeth. It was very beautiful. Better than the movie. And it leaves to a very possible fourth movie. IMO.
Pocky, Uh...I'm stuck with Minie loool. *places pinky on lip*
What sweet moment is this? I remember Jack saving Liz because he didn't want her to see Will's heart get cut out, then they're on the Pearl and he 'tries one last time for her heart' or some such by suggesting that every king needs a queen, and then they part ways. 😛
That "every king needs a queen" line is the one that bothers me a little. I'm glad it wasn't in the film.
It didn't make sense in context to everything that had happened in the film, for one thing.
And it wasn't sweet; it made Jack more girlie than he already was. It was really a stupid line, and considering all the trouble Jack went to save Will (especially if you go with the idea that he saved Will FOR Elizabeth), it was really out of place and out of character.
No, he offers to stay with her. 😛 and I didn't see Ted and Terry say that it's the best line ever. Could you give me a link or a quote please to go with that statement?
I'm not sure what manly is to you, but my view of manly doesn't usually involve loose wrists, eyeliner and screaming often and loudly in the face of danger. I like Jack Sparrow, but calling him manly is a bit of a stretch. 😉
Unfortunately, the novel is not really considered canon. *sighs* Oh well. There are other good moments from the novel that are in it that aren't in the film either.
