guess who's on the front of the UK PotC advent calendar this christmas...yes of course its JACK AND ELIZABETH no whelp to be found
you can also buy one with just Jack
you cant get one with just whelp
and you cant get one with all 3.
I dunno if you get those advent things in the US, basically its a thing with chocolates contained in 25 seperate compartments (each for the day of december) and you eat one each day leading up to X-mas
kids love em
Tyger Sir, well said, your swordplay meets all criteria for juicy delicious. Thanks for sharing--nothing beats playing hard and then playing harder. Jack's attitude in your story, is much like the face he makes when she's trying to recover the letters of marque from him, he briefly considers and then totally dismisses her "threat" about Will's training, knowing he will fight always to win, never to follow the rules, you done well, pirate, ta.

Any how, I couldn't really imagine Jack as a dad or a husband... I think that maybe they wrote out Sparrabeth bc they wanted to keep Jack free to roam, which is fine with me bc I wanted willabeth anyhow... someone has to agree with me on something here...
Well neither could I, and I could also never imagine Liz as a mother or wife, so I thought she and Jack would be perfect. Two pirates roaming the sea together. That would have been a fun ending to a pirate movie. Lizzie with a kid seems so out of place, and I never would have imagined that would have written that for her character.
Jack cannot spend the rest of his life chasing rum or loving inanimate objects. JMO. 😄
OK, I need to stop "bumping" in like this. Hello, again! I tried to come back but the Uni is being quiet the Nazi and tutoring is becoming a pain.
LovelyOne: *nods in agreement* I heard about a cover of Jack and Elizabeth. And nope, no captain fruit loops in sight.
It's sad, so sad that I can't get over on how shitty this movie is. Not shippy wise, the entire movie itself.
Old rumors were that they were planning a futuristic...pirates...sequel. Kind of makes you go "wtf?"
But that was a while ago. I haven't heard any recent rumors lately other than a fourth is being written. Oh, and Geoffrey Rush supposedly wants to be the next director o_o. Again, just rumors. *shrugs*
willofthewhisp: Talking about screenwriting/play, I believe that they planned to end it with a slight hint or hope of Jack and Elizabeth. Lots of people are pointing their fingers to TnT, even though they could be part of it, but on an article from a magazine (UK) mentions on how GORE intentionally changed the movie. Making it appear to be the complete opposite we were hoping for.
OT: Hello, gals! Nice to see some lovely, familiar faces (er, names) in here. 🙂
Well, hello to you too, Pocky 🙂.
Again, forget that I'm a sparrabether for a moment. It's just I had my "contacts" and they send me the complete script. What was cut had to do a lot with Elizabeth and Jack.
^Forget that, my point is that people need to be careful on who they blame at. TnT weren't the ones who "fudged" it up - completely.
I personally like the novel than the movie. I find the novel to be the *real* story, and the plot seems to fit very well. They both even attempt for a last kiss.
Mina, really?! An attempted last kiss???? Like the one Lizzy tried to give Jack but he rejected it??? Can you post a quote from the novel to show the attempted kiss?? I really need some Sparrabeth therapy.
Willo, I actually wrote a script for an episode of X Files as part of my scriptwriting course many eons ago. I passed my course and my script was praised by my instructor and I was even offered a job interview with a broadcast station based upon my script! But I screwed up the interview 'cos I'm really lousy at talking to interviewers due to extreme shyness. Sigh....
