I just want a movie that really shows Superman as he is in the comics, and nothing less. I liked the idea of making the Superman universe a little darker, as long as he isn't Batman serious. Just make less comedic parts in the movie, and make things more serious.Btw, am I the only one who'd like Clark to be portrayed closer to TAS in that he's not really a geek, but is still a bit of a clutz?

t-vo has been largely ignored over the last ten years or so. i think i read a while back either johns or busiek saying they considered it dead and buried.
soul vision was explained as being an aura around all living things. seeing as superman can see every spectrum, he is able to see this aura. it also explains why he's a vegetarian.

Tvo deserves to be dead & buried. It's one of the dumbest ideas ever. I think Surfer can see the same way, but I never heard of him doing some shit like that or @least it wasn't called soul vision. I think you told me this b4. The power itself isn't lame. It just doesn't go well w/Supes. It'd be better suited for a Dr. Strange/Dr.Fate/Dr.Strangefate type character. It sounds VERY corny coming from anybody but those types. &I honestly think writers should NEVER make new/never b4 mentioned powers for Supes. It's stupid. The new superman movie had at least 3 diffrent story lines and is supposed to be out in 2010+. The franchise only had like a 100 millon dollar budget but thanks to the tanking of the new captian marvel movie that will change. Billy Batson and the legend of shazam had a budget of almost 300 millon. That was 3 times what the superman movie had. BUt it appeares to be shelved after the new batman movie and D.C seems to be sticking with batman and supes i guess.
At the end of the day, that's all they really got. & it's not because they don't have some quality characters. It's because they can't get offa Bats & Supes nuts long enough for other characters to shine. WW is another character they seem to be in love with, but I see her movie performing even worse than Supes returns if she ever gets one. They're more comfortable using properties they've bought over the years than they are using their own stuff.

I remember he uses T-VO against Adversary recently and TBH Supes uses T-VO when situation deem it necessary. Most of the time though he uses his regular power.Mostly is it enough.
