And now that I know who will play her I look at Adams and I just can't "see" Lois Lane. Still she'll no doubt be betther than Kate Bosworth.

If nothing else she's a step up from Bosworth. I have seen a few films with her, and she does have some charm. So if she can nail a charming Lois then she'll be good for the film.

I just wonder what she'll look like as a brunette.

Just saw Emma Stone in Easy A. I think she would make an excellent Lois Lane, pulls off the brainy yet attractive very well.

Indeed... I still have to see Snyder making something like that.

For me he has had only 2 good films 300 and dawn of the dead

First half of DotD was good, last half was garbage. I felt 300 was entertaining.

300 was entertaining... but not a great film when it comes to narrative. On that level it was okay.

A good Superman needs more than okay. Singer proved that with Superman Returns: okay won't do.

Personally I hope Nolan has got some grip on the reigns here. Snyder likes his CGI too much... And I think he lacks a certain feeling with his material. 300 just had one gear: yelling and gore. He could handle that. Watchmen was too strictly copied from the graphic novel visually, what Snyder added in changes, shortcuts, rythm and music was messy and muddled...

Haven't seen Sucker Punch yet, but that certainly looked like a CGI fest. So I keep my fingers crossed.

And yet by that same token, trying to make Superman too "nolanised" will only hurt the picture. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, though.

the problem with superman is that he's so powerful.. what poses as a threat to him? magic, kryptonite and brute force.. i vote for brute force for this movie.. magic would be so interesting, but only if done right.. but kryptonite is played out..

Yes, I really hope Snyder makes this his best movie to date because if he screws up Superman he loses all cred..

300 was entertainment with very little else, Watchmen was overly long and didn't seem to grab the audience. Also it bombed as far as making any significant money. Sucker Punch from all accounts that i've read is a terrible movie that is also bombing in the box office.

Snyder has a cult following because of 300 and doing the Watchmen among comic enthusiasts and young men. If he screws up an icon like Superman his career could very well be in the dumpster.

So looks like Lois was finally cast for the new Superman movie. How do you think Amy Adams will do as Lois Lane?

Myself, I think she looks promising. A great history of experience in acting and I think she'll knock it out of the park.

That's why Mr. Mxyzptik would suck as a villain. Superman couldn't do a thing to him, and we've have to put up with his lame trickery for two hours until he decides he'll leave.

Superman and Underdog would make a good team
