I know the reviews don't matter, but it still annoys me that so many reviewers just seem to hate 1. Synder 2. A non cheesy, serious Superman. Watching the downward trend for reviews, I actually think that my estimation for 60% was too kind. We'll be lucky if it stays above 50%

There is no way it is going that low

I don't know man, don't underestimate the power of reviewers with superhero fatigue that don't get as many laughs as they want.

The movie has everything it needs to become a summer blockbuster hit.

It's already released in the Philippines. And from what I hear people LOVE it. It's one of those things where people love and critics have mixed feelings. Anyway, it's making a lot of money over there, so that is good.

Well good! I know I plan on seeing it at least 3 times this weekend here in the States. 🙂 I know it's silly, but I just really wanted this movie to be an all around hit, with the GA and critics alike. I get the feeling that if it wasn't for marvel's style being so popular, the critics might have liked this more. I see more and more reviews basically saying it's too serious and should have been more light hearted.

anyways who wants to compared Avengers with MoS. Doesn't seem fair seeing as how avengers got Thor, IM1-2, and CA all to boost it up

Avengers had been building up for 5 years. The fact people even dare compare MoS to avengers is an accomplishment IMO.

Yeah, but when Michael Bay does just that in his films, he gets beaten up by both hard core fans and critics (but he does make big money, in the end.)

Current RT score: 65 %. This looks like it will sit in the mixed opinion section - but it's certainly not Green Lantern, which was a clusterf**k on arrival.
