9.0 OH YEAH
I can't believe I read that right. Superman too serious LOL
Hmmm...I was wondering why no reviews as of last night on Rotten Tomatoes, what with the other week's releases already getting some pre-scores. Well, after a big opening surge, the tomatometer is dropping, now at 71%. I'm going to see this regardless, but will we find out that, like Tim Burton before him, just because Christopher Nolan knows how to produce a serious Batman movie, that doesn't equal doing Superman right? And that Zack Snyder is still more flash than substance?
I like the serious look of the film, but to reviewers it's coming off like being leaden...we'll see what the larger audience has to say.
After all the positive buzz I almost wonder if some of these reviewers are just trying to go against all the hype. Of course, we will have to wait until the movie opens to be sure. Some of the negative reviews complaints just seem odd. Too serious? Really? Too much action? After Superman Returns? What exactly do they want?

Some critics just hate certain directors and have a biased view. However, 2 things that are common in the complaints are pacing and lack of character development in the side characters. I'm very big on pacing, so I hope I'm not dissapointed. 🙁
