First of all: Get over the Donner films. They had their time and place. That is long gone. And it is not like they did not try to cockride the Donner legacy.

Secondly: This is not Marvel. So get over that too. MoS worked really hard to be its very own movie.

MOS isn't the best superhero flick ever, but it is the best Supes film ever. I enjoyed it &I don't like Supes. Better than the beginning and end of Nolan's bat trilogy. Not perfect, but enjoyable

Marvel doesn't really have anything to do w/this film or this thread. It doesn't really make much sense to bring them up here just to hate on them

I am not hating on Marvel. I only brought them up because of a few critics bringing it up.

Finally saw it and it KICKED ASS. I thought Cavill was a bit inconsistent, but nothing too bad. Fishburne, Adams, Crowe, and Shannon were all SPOT on.
