I think Brainiac is going to be the villain of the sequel.

"I didn’t get the “man of steel” thing, though. There was no reference to steel, like, at all. Steel could’ve been used as some sort of symbol or metaphor-type shit, but no. What is even the point of the title? I don’t know. I may never know."

facepalm

LOL

" Also, Ems says that there was offensive 9/11 imagery, which I don’t know much about, but I’ll take her word for it."

What the hell is she talking about?

I was in NYC Manhattan during 9/11, I know the scene they are talking about in the film; it has no correlation or comparison with each other. Pure bull

Suspected as much.

The only thing I can think of is when

Spoiler:
the fighter jet gets trapped by the gravity pulse of Zod's ship and then careens before crashing into a building.

Wow. People are so ****ing stupid.

Watched the movie a second time and I like it even better than the first time.

Action is much better than in the Avengers or Batman movies. Fights and destruction are in another level.

Lots of mysteries unresolved for the next movie.

There was an open kryptonian pod on the first ship on earth, who survived?

I believe the ending also is the base to build his moral character as We know it in comics.

This second run was much, much better.

Yes, but the problem is that wasn't portrayed in the movie. You have to make assumptions and you can make all kinds of assumptions, I just wish they scripted in some solid "I care about collateral damage". Or him bringing the fight elsewhere, as I said they were there specifically for him.

Spoiler:
they showed him being bullied until he was an adult.. how much more bullying do you wanna see.. and its not hard to believe those buildings were empty, like it was not hard to believe that most of those able and willing prisoners in the hole climbed up when bruce dropped the rope..
its not that hard of an assumption.. i know they showed it in superman 2, but this is not superman 2.. this is a movie where for the first time, he was actually referred to as "the alien"..

100% agreed. I got all of this during my first run though. People are too quick to judge IMHO.

100% brother!

I might be watching this a second time on Tuesday with my friend. Hopefully I can catch the easter eggs. 😛

My favorite scene was the Oil Rig. Or maybe when he piledrived Zod.

Least favorite was Kent's death.

That film really hit home.

My favorite track from the score was "Arcade". Duh da duh, da da da duh.

Johnatan Kent got the short end of the stick.

YouTube video

Actually, my favorite scene was probably when Zod mastered flight and they both went at it on even terms. Because Kent was no experienced killing machine, but he was a tank farmboy willing to break bone.

Yeah.

Spoiler:
He was really trying to get back to his family after it all though, the fact that he did what he needed to do and didn't survive depressed me.

It really pissed me off.

Is it impossible to get equal treatment for both parents?

Here is a list of all the easter eggs. Wow I missed a few

I have question...has there ever been a story about Johnatan and Jor-El? I don't know a moment where they both get to meet each other and talk about their son.
