Colossus vs Mr. Fantastic

Cmon, metal man. It hasn't been 15 minutes yet, you could have edited that all into one post! :-P.

They might be in the same lifting class, but there is no way Colossus can hit hard enough to KO Hulk, and put him back to Banner.

Agreed.

I could've, it just would've taken me a long time. I was going through it from a couple pages ago, so I felt that was the easiest route. 😛

Edit: Oh yea. And I do what I want. 😎

Thats like saying it was never indicated that you can use cars to smash your opponent in this battle. It's within his power, why shouldn't he be able to do it?

Show me where it's stated where Reed can't be tied up.

Reed can simply near liquify his arms 😐

Not sure of that, but the Hulk once inhaled Reed and spat him out like a chewed bubblegum.

In the same comic which had Thing giving Phoenix a hard time 😆

Stalemate. Reed is too smart, but Colossus is just too damn durable.

what proof is there that colossus can go indefinitely without air? i'd thought he could last a long time, but not that he didn't NEED to breathe. what's the longest he's gone without air?

I know it's hardly official, but his wikipedia bio states:

Colossus possesses the ability to transform his entire body into a form of 'organic steel', named by some sources as analogous to osmium, but of still unknown composition. In his armored form Colossus possesses incalculable superhuman strength. Also while in his armored form, possesses near limitless stamina. Colossus is practically invulnerable and is capable of withstanding great impacts, high caliber bullets, falls from great heights, temperature extremes of hot and cold, electricity, and magical attacks without sustaining injury. His body cannot rust under normal Earth conditions. Also, while in his armored form, he requires no food, water or even oxygen to sustain himself.

I think his official marvel bio says similarly.

wiki. . .? 🤨

It was fanvoted? Then I agree with you, there's no need for using that then. But you have to admit that it was pretty hilarious!

Let's look at this fight, using logical arguments and evidence.

Namor has been able hurt Reed by physical means with a single punch. Reed needed the help of his wife to stand up.

Reed's stamina is that of a normal human. Colossus, on the other hand, can fight near-full strength for days on end.

Reed has stated on-panel that he has to intentionally keep shifting his body to be immune to physical attacks.

I agree that while Reed has his energy, Colossus will not be able to do much to him. It is also clear that Reed will not be able to do much to Colossus. Reed, however, will tire out. And when he does, Colossus is going to take advantage of him, and (excuse my French) beat the living shit out of him.

His marvel bio states similarly, if it makes you feel any better. 😛.

He's stated it many times in comics. But I don't feel like gather scans now.

Ah f*ck it here's one of the many.

THAT makes me feel better. i've aload of x-books but none all that recent and i don't recall him ever being able to go completely without air, indefinitely. if snoop backs it up, i'll give c the benefit of the doubt then and say he WOULD eventually wear reed down.

but if he COULD be choked out . . .

death

As long as he's in steel form he needs no air.

Exert from the Offical Handbook of the Marvel Universe X-Men 2005
"He does not need to breathe while transformed, but it is believed that he could not survive for long in a vacuum."

i was wondering if that had ever been backed up in scans. the only thing 'official' about bios is that they suck.

snoop says he's got scans. i'll believe him, but i am wondering what's the longest he's gone without air, or if he could survive having reed fill his lungs or other internal organs . . .

ahh, he edited his post, did he . . . 😖hifty:

thanks for pointing it out. 😉

i wonder still if reed gets INSIDE him via his mouth, then sprouts spikes for instance in his throat or lungs . . .

:death:

His whole body turns to steel. Eyes, bones, etc. I don't think that will work.
