Batdude's Tourney Discussion Thread

As for me...

1. SBP is out.
2. Superman Prime/1 million/ Pre Crisis/ Kingdom Come are out
3. And I personally wouldn't allow anyone who decided to pick a gl to interchange the abilities with another... cause Hal... he isn't your normal GL.
4. Also I'd be rather picky about the scans chosen for anyone picking Kyle Rayner, as its a fact that during his last year as a GL they were bumping him up in power by letting him tap into the Oan energy trapped within the sun, even showing he didn't have to recharge.. and that his powers were greater than any other GL. Any scans from 1 year prior to Oblivion on to current, honestly I have problems with. Thats just my views though... 😛

Superman Blue is perfectly acceptable as far as I'm concerned.

As I said before, we'll have to wing the levels of powers in different areas for Green Lanterns. If we see power ranges above the limits, we'll cut it.

It takes the debate to something beyond scan wars, it adds a bit of creativity to the posters and the argument. I'd rather have a poster ARGUE that Kyle could do XXX based on XXX, rather than just have people throw down a bunch of scans, to be refuted by a bunch of scans, in order to post another bunch of scans.

The former just seems like the better debate, to me. 😗

You can get some pretty big what-ifs

( What IF you took Nate Grey and Sage, and used the latter to give a huge boost to the powers of the former? 😈 )

No one ever answered my questions about Onslaught's feats, or which version of Doomsday would be allowed.

That's the kind of arguments I LOVE seeing. Those twenty minutes of prep are gonna be INVALUABLE as far as this tourney is concerned.

Kyle Rayner, Daxamite Green Lantern. Along side several other super powered characters, all wearing Lantern Rings as well. 😱

The only ring creation I know of offhand is Kyle while he was imbued as Ion.

When was the Hal feat? Did each ring act as an individual power ring of equal level?

Well even if he could, I'd have to say doing that would not be allowed.

Its a nice loophole to exploit seeing as technically the GL rings are able to do just about anything... but its still a loophole, and I say its closed.

also even if you don't believe it is a loophole, I invoke rule 9. and i'll just wing it. 😄
