He frowns again.

"Yes, I knew this was going to be difficult to get across. Again, think about what the question before you is."

"Perhaps because she did not understand our choice to find out what was behind the door in the first place," Heph says.

"Ah..." says Lo Qi. "Now, if there is one thing the Oracle is good at... and as it happens there are several... it is understanding people. How can she possibly not understand the question you face?"

(oh wait, that thing she said about making a choice for the right or wrong reasons...)

"Or maybe it was because she wanted us to understand the choice before us."

"But why can't she help you understand the choice before you?"

"Because we don't."

"That doesn't change whether she does or not. Normally when you do not understand something, the Oracle helps you understand. But here, with this particular issue, she cannot. Why not? Remember what the question is. The lady here," he says, pointing to San, "gave an answer that is about as wrong as could possibly be, an answer you could only give by thinking about the wrong question."

Berserker lets out a small laugh.

"Don't worry Lo Qi we will get this eventually we always do..........

Um maybe he has to do something with her not having a choice to tell us?"

Heph will laugh a little at San.

To Berserker Lo Qi says "There is an error in reasoning some Humans once called a 'Zebra'. It is when you heard hooves on the road nearby, and assumed therefore it was a zebra, when of course any reasonable person would think it was a horse. Look for the simple answer to a simple question first, before you come up with wild speculations."

"Because it didn't matter if we knew or not some of us already made the decision to open it or not to open it"

"Told you that, did she? I suppose that may well be true. But I think she and I would be in agreement that you should understand why you made that decision, and again, that's what she can't help you with, and so again... why not?"

San will glare back at Heph as she's now mildly annoyed...

"The only real reason, based on what the Oracle told us, that I can think of as to why she can't help us understand is that the answers to our questions we'll need to find out and experience ourselves, which isn't really something she can help us with." she replies.

"But she would normally give you the information to help you help yourself. She actively told you she could not help you at all. This issue is probably unique in that way.

"Like I said, the answer you gave earlier was as far from the truth as it could be."

"When I said that the Oracle might not know what's behind the door?" San says. "So, then, does she know what's behind it, and would that be why she won't help?"

Lo Qi smiles.

"Of course," he says. "As I told you, thw question isn't what is behind the door. The question is, will you open the door even though you don't know what's behind it! It's a conundrum that anyone can think about, though most pertinent to the one with the key.

"But the Oracle can see the future- or at least, she understand the consequences of choice, which amounts to the same thing. If she were ever confronted with the issue, she would know exactly what would happen either way. But the question only works if you do not know.

"It's an irony. In this respect, the Oracle is limited by her own power. She is the one being who absolutely could never understand the question you are facing, because she can never be in a position where she does not understand the consequences of her choice.

"She can't help you. But me... I have been thinking about it for a long time. Hmm. So, she wants me to guide you... difficult."

"That makes perfect sense"

"I must admit I didn't think of it that way..." San says. "Will you help us, though?"

"Well... it is my task to look over the door. But my companions and myself have long decided it is not our place to make such decisions on behalf of other people. The choice about the door must be yours, but I would not feel right about you making it unless I was sure you had thought about it properly. Difficult, though... I cannot simply impart my great length of thought and study about the door to you in just a few words."

"Well, you seem to posess kind of Wisdom and humility that I haven`t seen in machines before. It seems that Machines that run the Matrix know exactly what is best for humanity. But they couldn`t understand humans enough to create a perfect world..... propapably because there is no such thing as perfect world. Human civilization has evolved for millenia, and perhaps we could advance further, yet our progress was brutally halted by your kind. We were denied freedom, including freedom to learn and make choices.

I am glad to see you are diffrent from your kind.... but won`t you betray them by aiding us? Why do you want to help us if we are the enemies of the system? Would you agree with me that your kind is harming humanity and we have right to oppose them?"
