Why ? Should religion not be debated ?

Did I say that?

Buddhism is not concerned with "true religion", Buddhism is concerned with winning in life.

* Buddhism is a religion... 😕

There, IMO is no true religion. There are only faster and slower paths.

* to where? 😕

Possibly slower or faster paths to unending knowledge.

Buddhism is a philosophy of ethical behavior that lay people refer to as a religion.

* Buddhism is still a religion... 😉

Meh. I'd consider the way it is followed in the US to be a religion whereas, traditionally, it would be a philosophy.

That is a matter of opinion of the followers of Buddhism. To some Buddhist, it is a religion, depending on which branch of Buddhism one belongs to, and their personal feelings towards it.

Some forms of Buddhism are philosophies, however, the form of Buddhism that I practice is a religion.

Ok, we have to work more basic here, what is your definition of a religion?

The aspect of Buddhism that encourages universal and absolute compassion for all living things is probably the more philosophical part of it....

While the belief in the non-existance of a soul, the beleif in the non-existance of self and ego, and the beleif in Samsara and Nirvana seem to be the more religious parts of it.

I don't speak for my religion, but that is true about my Buddhism. Now that we have that clear, lets move on.

I speak my "Truth" yet don't know a name for it......I don't have a name, yet..........There are many truths and these may be to my advantage or not..........Yet they still are...IMHO...

A Christian IMO is Christ like.............that and that alone..........Is this a bad thing?

And who is a Christian? A lie, a blanent lie, cause they want to be in Christ bed/thinking, yet, never, ever can be......they are woriking to be this thing...............and it's not one of works .. but belief of what is.........too bad the church really screwed this up for people......

* that's why i observed that some of those who claims to be Christians are not Christ-like... and they are not in accordance with the teachings of Christ... are they considered Christians? 😉

But you say that I am not christ like.....yes?
