Basic Instinct is a sexy, thrilly, mind game. Basic Instinct 2 i the best, and you don't need to see the first to watch it, as it's a completley different story.

So go watch it.

i wouldnt touch the second basic instinct... the first is awesome... in every sense of the word...

Meh. Personal preference, I suppose. I liked how the mental examiner becomes the mental examinee element was emphasized in the second in particular.

that was evident in the first one too though, maybe not to the same extent... but in the first one, i thought they did an excellent job of showing how douglas' character was dragged into tramell's world...

i wonder how long it'll be before someone comments on the almost overwhelming sexual charge that existed in the movies...

Hard to say as I've watched every Hannibal movie (except for Rising) and haven't watched any of the BI movies

Amy Lee is not that great. She's too round in her face, and it's not just her body type or anything, she's got love handles she could stand to get rid of, but wears the type of clothing that you never see them. She knows how to dress for her body type, you have to give her that. But not for her looks. Her clothes and make up combination over accent her chubby face.

She has a classic beauty other than that, but not much.
