I was thinking about story-write-ability.Some cool lines pop in,still.....I'm gonna miss the Doctor who leather jacket...
He starts in Countdown,thats the promo.Why would that happen in WW3?I mean he wasx still Nightwing OYL,which comes after WW3,and he appeared as Red Hood in GA.

Cause in the promo poster for WW3 they showed Red Robin and Johns revealed it was Jason. Thought it was a bit of foreshadowing.
Red Hood did pwn, but maybe this is their way of having him make the move to "hero".
