On to Mangog. I was wrong, Odin did fight him in the appearance I was thinking of... twice. First was weakened, second was after he renewed himself, and here is him renewing himself.
Mangog goes for the Odin Sword.
Anyway, it usually takes Odin to step in the beat Mangog.
Also there is a difference between Odin's level, and Thanos's.
Oh and Scoobs, I remember you saying something about if they aren't in 20 panels, they aren't acceptable.
I think I may have my 20 panels of Universe X AM...
Meh, the "ban EX AM" campaign didn't work the first time. I doubt it'll gain any more momentum now.
Thanks for the info on Mangog though. Leo seems to think he fits nicely in the limits. And BD approved him initially (heck, Scoob and I briefly thought about taking him...but obviously decided against it). I'm not completely sold that he's ok, but he's obviously close to the line.

He was beat by Odin once. After that thing I shown, he was shrinking from the Odin spell, and vanished. He was beat by Thor by him turning him intangible, or something like that. He was beat by Thor by Thor getting the drop on him. Then in his last appearance... he was whispered away by Rune King Thor.

Look, all that matters, is that Thanos's overall power level is a lot higher then All-Star Supermans. Those Thanos feats I listed aren't probably half of what he has done. Only thing All-Star Superman is greater then Thanos is speed, and it is not enough for banning. All-Star Superman is fine for this tourney.
You are clearly underestimating the power of Thanos...

So he has to make the EXACT same feat? Lifting strength isn't the only thing that displays strength. Thanos has strength feats on the same level and above. He was able to fight Champion with power gem for an entire issue (until Champion punched the planet and destroyed it). He was able to match strength with Tyrant (the orb did not increase Thanos's strenght). Not only all that, but he is able to infinitely enhance his strength by tapping into his infinite reserves of cosmic energy...Hell, even Peter David, one of the most known Hulk writers considered Thanos to be Hulk level in strength.
I'm going to make a Thanos Respect thread in the holidays if this keeps going like this...
