Yes it was explained Drax has his killing blow encoded into his very being. You read the comic right?

You\'d think given Thanos genius he would have realised this given the purpose Kronos created Drax for but then having taken blows from Drax many times before its no wonder Thanos found it \"interesting\".

🙂

Of course of the times they've actually fought, Drax has never had a clean shot from behind while Thanos was busy the way he did when he killed him. So that may have had something to do with the ease in which it was done.

Thanos never knew. Probably didn\'t care to know. Drax hasn\'t exactly been a threat to him before Annihilation.

Yes, I read the comic, but when it comes down to chemical reasons, scientific backing, the reader does not know what Drax has in him to make him capable of killing Thanos.

Either way, it has absolutely no influence on this fight whatsoever. This is a battle between two people, not Superman sneaking up on Thanos and punching him. How is this whole issue of Drax fufilling his purpose of creation relevant?

Oh, wait, it isn\'t.

Ahh but it is relevant because it shows Thanos can be hurt badly given the right stimuli. I\'m not saying that with be Supes bio arua but remember the words in Crisis \"All things come from Superman\". So if the fight takes place in DCU don\'t bet Supes can\'t beat him. After all in Supes World the dials go up to 11 and we know in Marvel they have small gods for a small world. Oh and that\'s canon at least for DC.

So, I guess it's true that Superman is a tyrant as well.

By the way, did his dials go to 11 when Venom was kicking his ass across Metropolis? How about when Doomsday killed him?

Also, how does Superman prefer his power lines and gas stations? They must be pretty damn powerful in the DCU.

Also, the only reason "all things come from Superman" is because the DC writers can't think of anything more inventive. I could care less about Loebations.

by the way, this is what we call a distraction:

If you "had the comic in front of you" then you would be giving the full info on what's going on, not just your spin on things.

Yeah. It's also cannon for DC that Thor can walk right through Supes heatvision to take a shot at him. Thor's never done that with any of Thanos's blast. 🙂

Oh emotional outburst 1:0 me \\\"Kiddo\\\"

So what spin am I putting on things?

🙂 Your post just states what I said. Oh and strangly Thanos wasn\\\'t Tyrant Class either 🙂

The only crossover that is canon is Avengers/JLA an old thread exists on this forum where it is proven. 🙂

Oh and just a tip downsize your pics it messes up a whole thread.

Superman also took a blast from Thors almighty lightning to no effect before he unleashed the Thor-Buster....

What's a strangly? Do I still need to send you those Hooked on Phonics books?

The spin you're putting on things is that Thanos in that situation was actually fighting Drax, when he put up a half-assed effort to buy himself some time, but Drax wasn't having it. It's akin to putting a metal wall between the Hulk and any of his goals. It doesn't work for long.

Also, I know that JLA/Avengers is canon, smart guy. The writers and companies said it themselves, and was later referenced in Justice League, I believe.

Which simply means that Supes can stand up to lightning, big deal. Try to find an example of Thor walking through one of Thanos's blast.

🙂

Indeed he did.

Yet the issue beforehand he was getting thrown around by it?

I don't like to make a claim of bad writing, but Busiek isnt' exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

Thanos knew Drax was behind him!? WTF!!!

He was busy trying to save the universe.

Yeah. He didn't seem to really care much. Then Lady Death appears in front of him, and he realizes he should have used some better shielding.

Ahh a grammar Nazi, lol 🙂

Half assed effort lol, indeed Thanos did I agree. So what spin am I putting on things Thanos had a bad day made mistakes and ended up dead again.

Nuff Said.

All things come form Superman. You see arguing this sort of thing is hilarious because it\\\'s all down to the writer. Thanos has bad days and dies. Superman has a good day and wrestles an Angel. 🙂 That\\\'s comics.

Don\\\'t take it all personally, it\\\'s not.

Knocked around by it? The Mjolnir knocked him through a building and a moment later according to the narration Supes was back in the fight.
