half assed effort lol, indeed Thanos did I agree. So what spin am I putting on things Thanos had a bad day made mistakes and ended up dead again.

Nuff Said.

All things come form Superman. You see arguing this sort o thing is hilarious because it\'s all down to the writer. Thanos has bad days and dies. Superman has a good day and wrestles an Angel. 🙂 That\'s comics.

Don\'t take it all personally, it\'s not.

I'm not the type to take things personally, but some of the stuff you've been saying is honestly really, really dumb. 😬

Knocked around by it? The Mjolnir knocked him through a building and a moment later according to the narration Supes was back in the fight.

He likes Marvel comics Snoop 🙂

Or Thanos has a good day and takes on the Maker, while Supes has a bad day and is saved from dying by a bullet(until he's saved by Batman that is).

and Manhunter and Superman both had to team up to knock him away in the next page. Page afterward, you see J'onn go flying.

He likes Marvel comics Snoop smile

Gee, is it that obvious? I didn't think that I was being conspicuous enough with a name like BETA RAY HOWARD

Not really dumb at all. You believe Thanos would beat Superman. I believe it\'s down to the writer. Thanos has very erratic showings and people discount Supes like smashing a moon at 18 times the speed of light. It\'s all down to the writer. I hope you can see that.

Don\'t be so defensive it\'s O.K. to like Marvel. I buy many Marvel comics, although I will always prefer indie stuff to mainstream because of the latitude given.

So basically if a moron writes the fight, Supes wins. If anyone with half a brain writes it, Thanos wins. I can live with that.

Not at all it depends on what is required from the plot and story.

What would happen because of the plot is irrelevant in a forum match.

Not really when you are arguing two characters who have fought beings out of their weight class and won on more than one occasion. It depends on the writer Sathanus and Blaze are equal to Mephisto Supes has beaten them for instance. They are magical beings Supes shouldn\\\'t be able to hang with them just like Thanos should not be able to hang with Tyrant.

It\\\'s that simple.

Indeed he did.

nvrbeenwthagirl why do you feel the need to post under alternate identities? Digging up some old ID from the past, that's just silly. We all recognize your posting habits. Which silly name are you going to come up with next?

In regards to Drax, you can see his aura lighting up the closer he gets to Thanos. Whatever is powering him up is increasing in intensity, and I personally thought it was a cool effect.

It makes sense, because Drax had always been created to oppose Thanos, and has had several iterations he has gone through as Thanos has changed his own powersets. That was his whole reason to exist, as mentioned he is the silver bullet to Thanos', the kryptonite, the exact opposite energy force it took to overcome him. That is why it's irrelevant in his fight against Superman, which is what this thread is about.

Pantysniffer is, I'm pretty sure, not Nvr. He posts with too much fluency, skill, and punctuation. He is an old poster from the past, but definitely not Nvr. Much much older than Nvr.

The difference of course being that there's not much to contradict the showing of Thanos vs Tyrant. There's plenty to contradict Supes vs Blaze.
So it's really THAT simple. 🙂

I was just tracking the posting habits in terms of time in between posts and which posts he chose to respond to, and they corresponded with Nvr almost exactly. It looks as if some characters are inserted on purpose in order to disguise the postings. In addition to that some improper grammar and English is used, similar to how Nvr posts but of course not quite as bad.

The registration date of Pantysniffer is Dec 2nd, 2006, and only posted a bunch of things on Dec 2nd (again, with a posting frequency which mimics that of Nvr almost perfectly on that day).

To top it off, Nvr stops posting in the thread, and all of a sudden Pantysniffer starts posting in his place, continuing the same arguments that he left off. It's a common tactic within forums, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to post from a different IP address as well to try and fool the mods.

The thing he most likely did not take into account would be someone tracking his posting habits. It's easy to create fake identities and post back ups to your original debate, throwing in bad characters on purpose and using slightly different grammar as well to try and throw people off.

A common tactic? Sure.

But 1) Nvr NEVER uses emoticons. Pantysniffer uses them everywhere. 2) "Keep the faith," nuff said.

I think it's just odd Drax was created to kill Thanos but you guys don't even wonder how or what it exactly is.

It's one of the countless things nobody knows exactly. That's the problem with Thanos : his powers - or weaknesses - are absolutely not defined.

Sherlock Holmes would be so proud of you.

Thanos takes majority, but Supes walks away with a couple. Thanos 8/10, after some epic fights. If Supes is Bloodlusted than he takes a couple more, so Thanos 6/10. Not a curbstomp either way.

Agreed.

The Drax thing cannot be used against Thanos, it was clearly a special case. I don't think the guys who wrote the comic can explain it that well, the editor for the issue basically said "Drax has some powers than negate all of Thanos's powers, his forcefields and his natural Eternal abilities" (and yes he did actual say Drax's power extends to Thanos' forcefields and Eternal powers). It was just a simple way to get rid of him without an explination, no one else could do it (which was stated in issues 4 and 5).
