Thanos vs Superman

Started by King Castle399 pages

Basic Knowledge
Each side receives basic knowledge of the other. A good measure of this would be what the general population of the character's homeworld knows. For example, that Superman has a weakness to Kryptonite is general knowledge, but that he's Clark Kent is not.

Does the general population even know that Thanos exists?

some NY'ers but no not the large majority to consider it MU majority population.

Would Superman be the "general population"?

anyways... like i was saying not even most heroes no who thanos is.. the avengers keep records in order to be able to look up certain villains..

an earth bound hero is not going to know about the whole cosmic scene... some do but not all..

The NYPD does.

i knew some one was going to bring that up.. but how many cops know for sure.. thanos being arrested by a handful of cops from a precinct doesnt make the majority of cops.. plus was that story even canon?

Thanos has enough feats and no losses to base this mysterious Superman blitz victory off of. Thanos can negate his speed all day long.

^No he can't, by the simple principle that Superman can move more than 5ft before Thanos can move 1in. This is common sense.

Issue 39

definately non canon

Thanos has easy enough showings to say he can and will react to things moving at great speeds and his high durability will allow him to make a counter attack.

Nothing you say has ever been common sense and you have zero proof Superman can even beat him if he lands the first 3 punches in a blitz.

Well the proof is in the Principle. And you know which one.

The pimp hand principle says thanos wins. Glad you finally came around

😂

Superman wins

It is clear that Superman can move more than 5ft before Thanos can move 1 inch. That means Superman will pop Thanos before he can get his hand up for defense. Superman can also instant appear, or vibrate behind Thanos before Thanos can move 1 inch.

The fight would go as follows:

1. The bell sounds and Superman pops and stuns Thanos before Thanos can make an action.
2. Superman hits Thanos again before the stun effect wears off, renewing the stun effect.
3. Repeats step 2 until Thanos is koed.

Thanos would have lost without even making an action of his own.
Thus Superman wins by the combo to ko principle.
