Thanos vs Superman

aren't punches thrown in quick succession weaker? its like in boxing, jabs are not so strong but fast.

it all depends on how fast is too fast to throw a full strength punch.

Astounding how much H1 can be shut down on one subject throughout multiple and multiple threads, and still continue on like he's the authority on Superman vs Thanos.

Thanos would certainly feel superman's punches but h1a8's combo to ko argument seems to assume that only superman has basic knowledge of Thanos. It goes both ways. The general population of DC earth would certainly know a shit load more about superman than the general population of Marvel earth would know about thanos.

given that, thanos would most certainly start the fight the way he fought champion. he'd have his shields up all the time.

Thanos wins but it isnt as easy as a lot of people are making it.

Superman might make it a tough fight if he uses his brain but he slugs it out and gets koed here

I disagree; thanos last resort against Superman would be fighting him H2H.

Thanos has blasts that would cripple Superman. Fighting h2h is Supermans last resort. Supermans striking power and speed would be his best bet

It wouldnt be safe for Thanos to go fist cuffs with Superman. I'm giving Thanos the majority due to his versatility not his fighting skills.

2. Superman is fast enough to hit Thanos before Thanos gets his shields up.

3. Assuming Thanos is stunned by Superman for a small brief moment, Superman is fast enough to restun Thanos before Thanos clears up from the previous stun.

All of them are false, if Silver Surfer can put his hand Thanos what makes you think Superman can. Thanos is superior to Superman, like Darkseid, Odin any skyfather type character would rape superman. It's not always about strength and speed, it takes more than that to beast Thanos or anybody of his level or beyond.

but he won't, unless superman is in the mood to press the attack. which is rare.

superman probably could stun thanos. there's no reason to suggest he couldn't. the problem lies in the fact that superman always gives people a chance to surrender after he knocks them down.
