"Three rival my own power" = "Gladiator cannot match or possibly be five times more powerful"??? When rivaling denotes competing for the equaling or surpassing of one another? Yet another example of plain English being butchered.

You got me. 😂

what?! so easily....

thanos said "Three rival my own power", sure it doesn't make gladiator NOT physically stronger (which is what warlock experienced), but it doesn't mean that strength alone places him above thanos overall. thanos may very well be weaker but his other abilities that warrior and co. lack can level it out.

i believe thanos is implying that his might; his strength, power, and basically his force in total in a fighting situation (minus wit/intellect) is hard to distinguish from the other 3.

warlock hasn't fought thanos hand to hand that much, if at all iirc, not sure if soul scanning suffices for gathering that kind of knowledge *shrugs*

It was Sarcasm. But I can't be bother to continue this debate with OneDumbG0.

"Three rival my own power" means Gladiator clone is five times more powerful.

More power to him. 😂

^ "Three rival my own power" means that the Thanosi matching or surpassing the original Thanos is a distinct possibility.

"He was nearly four or five times more powerful" means Gladiator clone is five times more powerful:

This is English. Don't be so stucking fupid.

I think that, although Warrior is the combined genetics of both Thanos and Gladiator, this genetic material was most likely enhanced further, producing a stronger clone than if you had merely just stacked their strength.

warlock never really tried that tactic on the real thanos iirc, but he seems to mean power as in physical strength but whatevs.

thanos seems to be speaking on overall might however, both statements can be correct if you just take what they said literally ironically enough.

warlock's estimate is still dubious though

the scan looks pretty definitive... -shrugs-

Could Adam refering to "the original Thanos" mean Thanos before he amped himself using bionics, mysticicm and whatnot? I figure Thanos` great strenght is not just because of his heritage and doing a few pushups a day.

How would Warlock's comparative strength nullify the veracity of Warlock's words? Warlock has fought and beaten foes who's strength is vastly greater than his own. Warlock knows Thanos better than anyone. Warlock said Warrior was five times more powerful. Warlock isn't prone to hyperbole. Why question plain English?

I have no idea what you just typed in that paragraph.

Pretty straight forward really...

1. when has warlock faced thanos in a mostly or all physical confrontation

2 do u believe glads is 5 times stronger OR 5 times more powerful than thanos?

I think it's obvious Superman >> Thanos

i think it's obvious you have fetal alcohol syndrome

No one cares what you think.

Thanos still wins this fight with no PIS to help Supes out.

Still waiting ODG

^ 1. Irrelevant deflection. Irrelevant because nobody knows Thanos more than Warlock.

2. Gladiator is not 5 times stronger or 5 times more powerful than Thanos. Why this obvious fact even matters is beyond me.

1. So he's never engaged Thanos in a physical confrontation. Yet you feel he's well versed on knowing how much stronger this clone was than Thanos? How is that possible.

2. This is a very relevant fact... how would mixing Glads Dna with his own make him 5 times stronger or more powerful then. If thanos is already stronger than Glads.. why would mixing glads DNA then make that clone 5 times stronger than the real Thanos?

If they ever make a comic called:

"Superman vs Thanos"

We all know Superman would win in it. According to the rules, the panel is king.

It doesn't take 21 pages and multiple threads to figure this out and see the simple truth.

Make of it what you will.

Have a great day all. 🙂

Nope. Thanos would win.

Maybe its because Gladiator's strength varies according to confidence and Thanos naturally has a shit ton more confidence than Glads ever will?
