i usually say that as well.. big difference that only in a PIS filled story with one sided massive CIS would such a thing happen where the hero stands ever victorious with the cape blowin in the wind while learning in the same battle that he had a new ability to tank or be immune to what he believed would have killed him in the beginning of the story.

For simplicities sake. I'll stick to my original statement here. In a comic, Supes would win. Common sense would tell you that.

First off the comment was semi-facetious. I was throwing out a possible fanon explanation.
Second off I suggested that Thanos's personality+Glad's confidence amping would allow for someone much greater than Gladiator in strength and potentially even greater than Thanos.
