I posted a scan a dozen pages ago where Surfer stated he's no longer holding back and giving Thanos ''no mercy" while blitzing at Thanos shooting him with an energy blast. In the other scan Surfer blasted Thanos at point blank range and Thanos dodges it via teleporting.

To do any of that I'm pretty sure Thanos needs decent reaction time.

Thanos has, however, never BFR-ed somebody with FTL reflexes and speed. Unless they were reading the newspaper.

Thanos has show cased different types of BRF and teleportations.

He can do it with a point of his finger, hitting the person with a teleportation blast like he did against Champion.

He can create a portal that sucks in people to BFR them like he did against Moondragon.

Or He can casually wave his hand and BFR people without direct contact at all, like he did against Spiderman and Silver Surfer. This is the type of BFR that would work against a speedster because he just needs to will it so instead of hitting the speedster.

And I'm not saying Thanos doesn't have some pretty decent reflexes (for a purple brick), but nothing special. Just, you know, "decent reflexes", nothing more.

Well no one's saying he's got human reactions time. It's just he doesn't seen to have RT anywhere near Supermans. As for the blasts, that doesn't mean that much. Streetlevelers dodge blasts all the time too. As for Surfer not holding back.....seeing he only blasted him them tried to punch him, that may even count against him. Meaning he lost his mind with anger and obviously fought stupidly. So we learn nothing from that fight.

I don't see anyone without good reflexes reacting to a bull rushing "no mercy" Silver Surfer. That's my interpretation.

Surfer clearly tried to rush Thanos in the scan, he was blood lusted after all. His energy blast was shot before Thanos even raised his shield.

Unless you think a blood lusted Surfer was rushing at Thanos at slow speeds and his energy blasts was slow too? That makes no sense in the context of the scan or the story.

Regardless of all this, Superman could wail on Thanos all day and not hurt him.

And even if Thanos was as slow as a real-world fat guy, nothing is stopping him from mind-screwing Supes with his first thought.

But the actual fact of the matter remains that Thanos has reacted to Silver Surfer swooping in from lightyears away, at faster than light speeds.

^first he had the IG and though he limited himself he was still amped and second surfer missed, thanos didn't react on purpose.

And Thanos would die if Superman would wail on him...

Not only that, but Surfer missed. It's stated very clearly in the comic, Surfer missed. Only a few inches, but he missed.

I'm looking at the scans now, Thanos is clearly ducking so yes he did move. In fact Thanos is even looking straight at the Surfer mid flight when he swiped at his Gauntlet.

He didn't dodged, he moved his hand, and ss missed, but he didn't moved it because of the surfer but because of CA.

Besides, IG ! It really doesn't matter because the IG gave him all kinds of powers, every power he needed to defend himself.
