as you can see here he caught surfer in his gaze (with his right eye as surfer went for his raised gauntlet, only then did he recoil):
keep in mind that warlock sacrificed all the heroes as fodder so surfer could snipe thanos from their vantage point, he didn't factor in mephisto's machinations, but it only adds to the point that thanos did not know what warlock's stratagem was
thanos' mind was not recieving any data from the gems

Thanos has reacted and lifted his shields against a bullrushing "no mercy" Surfer perfectly fine. [notice the energy bolt was shot before Thanos has his shields up]

We all know the properties of energy blasts and what speed they travel. Without getting into a whole other debate about it being FTL or not. What we can say without a shadow of a doubt is.. blasts are fast.. and Thanos reacted after it was shot. The same with the scan below:
He also dodged a point blank energy shot by Surfer via teleportation.

Reacted perfectly fine against Ganymede who had just successfully blitzed surfer for a while. He was clearly blizting him really fast. Yet when faced with Thanos... he reacts just fine.

Add to these... the Fallen One incident where going Trans light (STATED ON PANEL) is how he traveled. His Schtick was bullrushing into things and blowing them up. He did it to Thanos ship... a planet.. etc etc.. That is his move... He tried it on Thanos... AFTER he launches Thanos reacts fast enough to stop him dead in his tracks and proceeds to mindrape him.
The reacted to a POINT BLANK blast from The Maker with ease. Again, we know the properties of energy blasts... Thanos was point blank and deflected her blast away. You would need to have crazy fast reflexes to pull off such a move.. that is exactly what happened.
We have TWO incidents against Thor where he threw his hammer at Thanos and it was stopped mid flight with ease. Thanos is shown with his hands at his side. Thor is shown throwing is hammer.. Thanos raises his had fast enough AFTER it was thrown to stop it mid flight. We've seen Thor throw is hammer FTL as stated on panel. Now we don't know how fast he threw it against Thanos.. but suffice to say.. it would be traveling really fast. Thanos had no issue with that fast moving attack.
All these situations above.. show he can react to fast moving attacks and react very well.

Oh the Ganymede thing was really funny. You must be desperate to post something like that.
Spider-Man has thousands of those kind of feats, but we all know Spider-Man is nowhere as fast as Superman on a slow day. So to think Thanos has even a fraction of Supermans speed, is laughable.

I didn't call them SPEED feats... I called them REACTION feats. You do understand those words aren't mutually inclusive, and in fact, can be very much mutually exclusive? I'm thinking maybe you don't understand the difference between the two. Do you even understand what the properites of energy are and how we perceive light and in turn thus how fast it is then traveling? I highly doubt you do, since you continue to show your ignorance on the matter. Spiderman speed blizting meta-human and street levelers isn't nearly the same is blitzing someone who is a peak herald of Galactus. Someone who has traveling feats that sh1t all over superman's best traveling feats. Huge huge diference. The way she blitzed surfer was very similiar to how The Runner did it and something that has rarely ever been done to surfer. Hardly what I would call spidermanesque. Since you did bring it up though.. in a comic... I 100% believe Spiderman would compete with SUperman in the speed department and be bouncing all around. The difference would be superman has speed and power and that would crazy the day. Make no mistake though, in a cqc fight.. Spiderman would be portrayed as tagging superman multiple times before he could react. Very poor example you choose. Then again, it's you.
