No! Hitting someone to space is not planetary. But hitting them to space through several highly durable ship walls like a bullet through paper is.
Did you read the comic? He hit him through a ship. What about Hulk punching 2 one hundred ft tall beings out of orbit taking a big building with them.? Is that planetary as well? He took a couple of 1000's tons completely out of orbit.

No he wasn't. This is Superman after coming back from being dead, and sporting the long hair. Even he was surprise that he was so strong.
Yes, he was. There's an entire story arc based on his ever growing powers.
Like you said, Superman was surprised at his new strength level, as stated several times in comic.
And, Lobo managed to boot Superman into orbit without any sort of amp on Colu, than jump after him into orbit. 😈

Too many peeple know about this. I already know why H1 don't know anything about the ft, because he doesn't read comics.
Good stuff cdtm.

Superman received an amp but current Superman also has an amp. Bet you didn't know that. After the Hulkling incident and Superman became normal Superman started to become stronger again. Only this time he didn't lose the amp.
Which Superman is stronger, Lobo Superman or current Superman.
Clearly current Superman is stronger by feats.

I think Superman retaining those power levels was confirmed in a letter column.
But letter column's generally aren't considered proof in a debate. If you want to prove Superman can do that without an amp, you'd need a similar, or comparable feat at "normal" levels.
Originally posted by carver9you have no proof that it was the amp that allowed him to do it. Can we stop with this lowballing of superman's feats please? When he punched lobo he was still in the early stages and was still normal size. He got to hulk size much later, he was absorbing every type of energy and they had him locked up in a room in a red solar system shooting out his heat vision to dispense his energy and even that wasn't enough. Re- read the arc and please get your facts straight. HE didn't launch lobo because of the amp.
Superman was amped when he did that. Who else punched someone out of orbit without an amp.

That's why my post said, "current Superman is stronger than Lobo Superman by feats". Current Superman has feats over 50 Earth weights of force. These feats trump the Lobo one by far.

After the "amp" Superman got when his powers were out of control, he did in fact get a power upgrade, and was written to be more powerful than pre-death Superman from then on.
His feats got bigger, yes.
I'm not sure if there's any mention of the bigger feats being because maintaining a boost from his Kryptonite X though, outside of that one mention in the letters.
Kind of a moot point though, as he has plenty of feats matching or trumping hitting Lobo into orbit.

Whats the argument about, can Supes hit someone into orbit ?
About whether h1a8 used a good example, basically...
Supes knocked Neutron into orbit in Ending Battle.
But what we really need, are feats comparable to what Hulk did, knocking a character into orbit through a giant assed ship..
