Thanos vs Superman

You seem to want to argue in a cbr type fashion while only looking at Superman's highest showings in a sense cherry picking.

Name the faster characters than Thanos that have beaten him due to speed. I will be waiting.

I think most people here know I'm a big Superman fan, but even I'm not going to say he beats Thanos without some sort of a long sundip. This thread is silly.

Thanos wins but Superman makes him fight EXTREMELY hard for it, extremely hard.

That's fair enough, I think that supes has to be serious and not f around like he normally does when he faces someone for the first time. I'll even admit that thanos can still win if he has magical pis on his side.

I never said "beaten" I said give him trouble and You know Thanos has trouble vs fast characters.

I'm not trying to place SM highest feats vs Thanos low showings but him having problems with speed is not a low showing is a constant.

Thanos has abilities needed to negate speed. Superman also rarely uses speed. Thanos is too powerful to even be bothered by Superman.

In this fight Superman will use his speed if he deems necessary. He always has the option when the chips are down. Thanos can't negate Superman's speed when Superman is using it in a smart way as shown before. Plus Thanos can't attack with his shields up. He has to drop them eventually. Then he is toast.

Nah Quan his physical stats are not as impressive as you wish they were.

They are more than enough to get Thanos the win here though.

I hate to side with Quanchi, but Thanos took attacks that laid out high heralds like Silver Surfer, on more than one occasion. And Surfers durability is as good as it gets for the high herald class. Right up there with Superman or Thor.

Superman has beaten lots of people more powerful that Thanos, like Dominus and Sathanus and Blaze for that matter!
