Yes, but do you think that Thanos can't handle speed. Surfer is much faster than Supes and he takes care of him. So speed is not a factor. And for the record Thanos is by no means slow. Yea Supes is much faster, but speed is relevant if your going a 100 mph and im going 60, yea your moving considerably faster, but i will still be able to react to you b/c were both moving at proportional speeds.

I don't know. He has never been speedblitzed (a speed blitz in the true meaning of the word, in another thread I posted some scans of what a speed blitz really is, and it's not just flying into Thanos' fist).

Silver Surfer goes thru Black Holes a wall of Vibranium with easy he takes Heat from suns all the times... Silver Surfer can absorb Superman solar energy and Thanos turn the Yellow sun rays into Red Sun rays. Thanos has been shown using mystical energies.

Thanos has not been seen to utilize spell magics in any of his appearances that I can recall.

That doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to use spells, as it has been stated that he used mystical techniques alongside technological ones to increase his might.

However, it is more likely that the majority of his mystic ability lies in his knowledge of things arcane. His scientific knowledge is vast, and well-documented. It is very likely that his knowledge of mystical lore is quite impressive as well. Its very possible, as speculated above, that his cosmic power source is partially mystic in nature.

You need to realize that Superman is a child to Thanos. Thanos is smarter tougher a better faster more experience then Superman and vastly more powerful.

To be fair to Superman and the speed blitz argument, I seem to recall Thanos not doing so well against The Runner. If I remember correctly the Runner (With the aid of one of the Infinity Gems) demolished Thanos' ship is short order. If it were not for the fact that Thanos had the Time Gem (I think it was the one he used against the Runner) and advanced the Runner's age to some obscene number, Thanos would have been "Purple Jelly" as Runner put it.

However, that being said, The Runner was using a friggin' Infinity Gem and I am sure that Superman is not as fast as The Runner in that meeting. I think that even though Superman has got a speed advantage, that Thanos will still win.

Well like any other herald Fallen One flys between 75% of lightspeed and Warp Speed. So ether he wasn't going his fastes or Thanos can really deal with uber fast characters

Well Runner is insanely fast. Faster than Flash I think, even without the Infinity Gem. But with the Infinity Gem, he was already where he wanted to go before he even realized it.

I don't think that it makes a lot of difference if Runner has his Infinity Gem or not, he's still a million times faster than Thanos.
