George Lucas has stated that Anakin is the Chosen One several times actually, in interviews about how Anakin fulfilled the prophecy (two that I have, at least). By the way, Rex actually did provide the source for where George Lucas directly says it (which is the one above).

So, I don't see how you can say "not one of you" when I'd assume Rex was on the opposition, and Lightsnake also gave the source for where he said it, if I recall correctly. And I'd wager Gideon did the same.

Go to the official website, LucasFilms would not make anything up that George Lucas himself did not say or approve, with that in mind they state that Lucas himself has confirmed who the real Chosen One is (which is Anakin):

"While we imagine this was one of those subjects meant to spark debate and discussion, George Lucas has stated in interviews that Anakin Skywalker is indeed the Chosen One. As far as the prophecy goes, Anakin brings balance to the Force since it is he who disposes of the imbalance. That is, he kills Emperor Palpatine in Return of the Jedi."
