Furthermore, this is pretty morbid. I'm wondering if it ought to be removed. It's not gory or particularly horrific to watch--I assume--but it still feels...wrong to have the video up on KMC. Leave it where it belongs: YouTube.

I never called him innocent. He deserves to be punished because what he did is one step above pushing the red button. However, I still hold my position on the death penalty in the fact that its revenge and not punishment.
The idea of punishment is rehabilitation. You're put in the corner as a child to contemplate what you've done wrong so you won't do it again. The death penalty is too absolute. It may "send a message" to those who would commit these crimes in the future, but obviously its not doing a very good job. People are going to commit crimes, so you send them to jail for rehab. Those who are their for life are those who cannot be helped, usually the serial killers and mass murders.

I muted it just in case. But I don't think that justice should be left in the ends of the people....scratch that, I don't think capital punishment should be left in the hands of the people.

With hanging, your neck might snap if you're lucky. Your spinal cord will probably disconnect and you'll lose practically all sensation in your body, then there's choking to death on top of having something worse than a migraine on top of the psychological horror experienced while being hung and humiliated infront of others and it all last a nice while, in some cases up to 10 mins, then you die.even if it's for 5 mins. it'd be hell. 2mins, even.
