Did you see what the rasengan did to the tank, if Naruto wanted Sasuke dead than Sasuke's whole head would have been obliterated by the rasengan, not just scratches on the forehead protector.

you dont watch closely do you if you watch sasuke had his hands in a striking position but at the last second they show sasuke change his mind and put his hands into a fist making it not a fatal blow.
2. the water tower meant nothing it showed the diffrence between what chidori and rasengan do rasengan causes internal damage while chidori pierces. only reason sasuke got mad was because he saw that naruto was getting stronger and wasn't the weakling like he used 2 b. sasuke also fealt bad because he would'nt accept the fact naruto was getting stronger it made him feel like he was not as strong as he should b. remember when he said what have i been doing all this time.
rasengan is a sweet jutsu and naruto is a cool character but you have 2 face da fact dat sasuke is stronger than naruto right now and chidori is stronger than regular rasenagan.
jiraiya only said he was going to teach naruto an attack that makes chidori look bad was so that naruto would come with him remember jiraiya told kakashi to train sasuke while jiraiya trains naruto
as i just said he said that to make naruto come with him because he knew naruto would not have been able to master chidori
hence when jiraiya said kakashi u train sasuke while i train naruto.
saying i will teach you a move stronger than chidori was strictly because he knew naruto would not have come any other way

The hell is this bullsh!t? The water tower scene was there for a reason. To show that Rasengan, was indeed, more powerful than Chidori. Seriously, where the hell did you get that pierce and etc crap? I don't even know how you interpreted it...

if 2 people with equal strength were arm wrestling and one wins that means the person who won is stronger or better than the other person

Name calling is common in debates. Deal with it. Dude. If Sasuke thought Chidori would kill Naruto and pulled out, that doesn't mean Chidori is stronger at all. It simply mean't Sasuke thought Chidori was stronger, not you, not me, and not anyone else.
Let me use another analogy for you.
If One -thought- he can kill another with this techique and decides not to use it, it means HE THOUGHT IT WAS WOULD KILL HIM/HER. But the other doesn't.

so you r saying chidori would not have killed naruto
raasengan slightly greater than chidori with the same person with ame expertise for both using it.
lightning edge>raasengan or chidori{normal}{remember werse assuming in all these cases that its the same user with same expertise for both}
full body lightning expell{sasuke} spread out chidori, less powerful but more useful than normal raasengan or chidori, level compareable or higher than lightning edge.
curse mark level 2 black chidori=kyuubi chakra, purple raasengan>all the mentioned before. the shidori MIGHT be ever so slightly powerful than the raasengan in this case with naruto having only one tail
wind raasengan>raasen shuriken> all the mentioned above.
