Did you just compare two Pokemon moves that are stated to be different cause one is a lot stronger than the other but with a lower accuracy to two jutsu's that have been stated in the manga to be the same thing?

I believe Kakashi's has a tail of sorts as well.

basically. raasengan is more pure POWER than chidori. however, if uve been paying attention, kakashi knew raasengan before chidori, and HAD to develop shidori because he cudnt put his lightening element in raasengan. chidori is weaker , but unlike normal raasengan, it carries the properties of lightening chakra which is extremely sharp in cutting power and has an advantage over earth element attacks{hence being super affective against gaara}. there is also the fact that nature manipulation can cause chidori to DISCHARGE and be channelled into shapes{sasuke creating swords etc} and be chanelled through special metal swords{kusanagi} as well as charging/conducting through a person's entire body. normal raasengan never had these.

normal raasenga=normal chidori{considering strengths and weaknesses}
form manipulation chidori>raasengan{tactical advantage}
great raasengan>raasenga{more power. he used it against itachi clone once}
great raasengan : form manipulation chodori{hard ot judge}
kyuubi chakra purple raaengan=black chodori>great raasenga/form manipulation chidori{it created a geofraphical cursed rainstorm and a cursed chakra shpere which destroyed a waterfall}
wind raasenshuriken>anything else shown thus far in these two technique variation

this is odd though, but ive always wondred, why the HECK doesnt sasuke just copy the raasengan and its variation from naruto with shaaringnan? and why doesnt kakashi copy the wind raasengan from naruto with his shaaringan?

as they stand, i dunno. but if the name SHIPPUDEN{hurricane chronicles} is any indication, if and when naruto completes his wind raasengan{its not even 50% complete} itll be sumthing else. unless the name is referring to "uzumaki" or thw "whirlpool clan".

Most intelgient post in this thread so far..

.. except for mine 13

Great points, but SPELL RIGHT! I could barely tell what you were saying.

Well Sasuke thinks his Chidori is superior and the Wind Rasengan is deadly to the user. Why would Kakashi copy a move that would leave him helpless after using it. Naruto has a healing factor Kakashi doesn't have that to help him even a tiny bit with being able to use his arms again.

chidori is superior look how much things sasuke can do with it

No, it's not. We've already debated this a billion times.

can rasengan be thrown become a sword and get longer and turn your opponent into a porcupine and charge objects to make them sharper no so that makes chidori better because it has more uses.

Agreed. Narutos chakra allows him to perform the techniques along with the endurance to fall back if it doesn't work. If Sasuke or Kakashi learn it and miss, there basically dead.

Not really, look how long it took Sasuke to barely beat Deidara.

Indeed. And look at the effect it had on Naruto and Gaara. Chidori's biggest problem is that it can't beat a healing factor or regenerative ability at all. Also, notice that Kakashi's riakiri only took out one of Kakuzu's hearts, AND Kakuza kept on fighting. Naruto's fuuton Rasengan not only destroyed TWO hearts, but completely disabled Kakuza from fighting at all.

1. sasuke said he could have killed deidara on the spot with his new jutsu plus he fought that whole battle strategically.

2. naruto himself couldnt even fight after he used that technique. plus if it wasnt for kakashi and yamato naruto would bedead because he failed to do it the first time

Saying something means nothing. Sasuke's a third-dimension character, so just because he says something doesn't make it true. Naruto says every time in every battle that he's going to win, but that doesn't mean he always does.

True, he could not. But at the same time he didn't have too. You don't need to keep fighting if your enemy is defeated already.

And Yamato and Kakashi's "help" only speaks for Naruto's skill, not the Rasengan itself.

alright what if kakashi and shikamaru had not taken some hearts and naruto took out 2 hearts kakuzu would have just sent one of those black ink things to kill naruto

No.. the same thing would have happened. Kakuzu's cells would have been destroyed on the mollecular level, and kakuzu would have been paralyzed. He loses either way.

Yea, Kazuku couldn't move or do anything and he was still alive yet helpless after Naruto did his technique. It wouldn't have matter if he had all of his hearts or just one. I wonder if somebody will one day find Hidan though since he's still alive after everybody who knows where he is dies.

That must be a pretty boring existence, though. Just a head in a pit under rocks.. forever.

Well unless he's plotting his revenge against the Nara family and trying to find out how to chew his way up to the surface.
