It's dumb because it's basically just a large bomb. With all the power he could have with the Tailed-Beast he decided to make a bomb instead of adding it to his own power or something just to bring the world pain. It's utterly stupid. He doesn't want to rule, he doesn't want power, he just wants to make everybody feel pain and destroy everything.
no no, thats isnt what he wants at all. he has a dissciated/psychpathic personality which integrates self contradicting philosophies in it{e.g. to heal the world, to stop the suffering in it, i will destroy the world. destruction seazes suffering. gives the world reborth etc etc etc} he hates konoha etc because they use seemingly noble philosophies to keep perpetrating wars as wihtout them they wud go out of business and selfrighteousness clouds their eyes to the evils of the result of their action.
pain was on the receiving end of the suffering etc of wars. as such he has developed a personality eternally connected with suffering, the only TRUTH that always remained in his life. and yet he knows that war is wrong and is trying to give the war waging world{who do not suffer the ill affects themselves as they all used the rain/water country to wage their wars and the land was destroyed because of it} a taste of its own medicine, as now when their own perpetuated wars continue, they themselves will become the victims of their collective crimes. in a way, its like biblical judgement/retribution, brought upon by the privelaged victimisers themselves as a result of their own action. pain must consider it fitting that the bad ones be destroyed by the beast they themselves created. ofcourse it is still ambiguous whether pain wants to heal the world with fear or end it{think HEROES. how linderman etc planned to use t he nuke to heal the world} with pain and make every1 feal the way he does. maybe he wants both and is insane.

That really can't be healthy lol. And yea I know what he wants but I still think it really is stupid no matter how he views it. Maybe if he wasn't using the Tailed-Beast chakra...well it would still be stupid but not as stupid since the Tailed-Beast have a large amount of chakra to be used for something so small.

And I also find it utterly stupid and ridiculous how the Rookiee 9 are just in the background now. That was what made Naruto so cool in the first place. It wasn't like Dragon Ball Z were in the end the bad guys are all beaten by the same couple of people (Goku and Gohan). Everyone played an important role in the first Naruto series. Now it's all about Akatsutski and Sasuke. Even Naruto seems to be fading into the background.
