Why are girls not respected on the internet?

I only flirt with people I am attracted to. I have a boyfriend though so I don't flirt to much.

Well, that's you. But you're not everyone else, I hope you realize.

Some people are simply flirtatious by nature and don't even realize they do it, or it's just having a bit of silly and harmless fun between friends.

For acceptance? A bit of lighthearted flirtatious banter can brighten the day, raise self-esteem and strengthen social bonds.

Thank you, someone who understands what I mean.

Okay now I have to speak to you on a woman to woman level. That was one of the dumbest comments I've ever heard in real life or on the net. You have an issue where you see everything that women do that you don't like or do as a sign of weakness. I'm bold always been bold always will be. The fact that I don't have to wait for a guy to make the first move or that I can joke around and flirt doesn't make me inferior in anyway. You make yourself weak by setting up limitations and making up imaginary rules.

I asked out my boyfriend, so I can make the first move. I just don't see the point of making an exhibition of myself.

Naive or stupid. Probably both. Riddle me this: How many of those socks passed sockchecks?

its very easy to get around a sock checker. in fact the ignorace to this fact astounds me.

Storm do you have social bonds here? Ism't it just a place to discuss ideas?

This is a large website, including a very large social area. You're on here for any period of time and you're going to make friends and have people you chat with socially.

You see flirting as making an exhibition of yourself, but not everyone does.

It is a possibility. You know that, right?

All im saying is that if the person passed the test its not ok to give them the benefot of the doubt. That = I soooo dont know what im talking about.

I understand what you mean and I think real life is different, I don't want to be seen as someone sexual really except to special people. I know i'm pretty because people tell me.

You say that like being seen as a sexual person is a bad thing. Which really, it isn't at all. The only way I can think of it being seen as such is if you are not comfortable with yourself or have low self-esteem.

And really, there's actually not that much of a difference between how people act online and offline.

There are some people who for very good and obvious reasons shouldn't make exhibitons of themselves or post slutty pics as you were saying earlier. The fact that some people do doesn't make them anything less. They ONLY seem less in YOUR eyes and people with eyes like yours.

Yes it does, dont waste my time.

Pretty much; seems to me this whole thread is a case of someone thinking "acting differently than I do is wrong".

I think that's a genralisation Lana, I am pretty happy with myself, in fact I would change nothing about me. I am pretty to other people, I work hard and am quite successfull in my studies and other areas of my life.
Anyway this thread is not about me and I don't want it to be.

No, dude. It really doesn't.

Do you think you get treated as an equal? Or have you found times when guys blatently belittle what you say because you are a girl or woman?

I'm not saying you're wrong. But, how is this any different than the way women treat men?
